The episode begins with Rishi asking Ayush what is bothering him. Ayush initially denies it, but Rishi presses on, reminding him of their childhood bond. Ayush confesses he’s concerned about Shalu’s behavior, sharing how she refused his offer to drop her home. He feels she’s intentionally distancing herself and can’t understand why. Rishi listens thoughtfully as Ayush leaves, musing to himself about how love brings both joy and pain.
Meanwhile, Neelam reassures Aanchal not to let Harleen’s decision to invite Rano, Shalu, and their family affect her mood. Aanchal agrees and focuses on enjoying the Lohri festivities.
Kiran and Malishka arrive to wish Neelam a happy Lohri and present her with a gift. Neelam accepts it but asks Mukesh to set it aside. Malishka then feigns dizziness, prompting Neelam to suggest she rest. Malishka declines, claiming it wouldn’t look appropriate with guests around. She casually asks if everyone has arrived, and Neelam mentions Lakshmi is yet to join them. Kiran spots a dress in the shadows and assumes it’s Lakshmi’s. Malishka excuses herself, claiming she’ll return shortly.
Elsewhere, Anushka is getting ready to leave for the Oberoi mansion. Neel sees her and compliments her appearance, but Anushka retorts with an insult. Neel warns her not to push him too far, or he might forget their relationship altogether.
Back at the party, Kiran shares her suspicions with Neelam, Aanchal, and Karishma, alleging that Lakshmi is jealous of Malishka’s pregnancy and could harm her out of spite.
Malishka begins her drama by sitting on the floor, pretending to be in pain, and accusing Lakshmi of pushing her. Shalu, unaware of the setup, accidentally trips over Malishka’s legs. Malishka angrily turns to scold “Lakshmi,” only to realize it is Shalu.
Kiran arrives and immediately accuses Lakshmi of injuring Malishka. Shalu confronts Kiran and Malishka, questioning how they can blame Lakshmi without knowing the truth. She boldly accuses them of staging this scene to portray Lakshmi as jealous and vindictive.
Neelam, Aanchal, and Karishma join the commotion, and Neelam demands an explanation. Shalu challenges Malishka, asking if she should expose the truth.
Meanwhile, Neel insists on accompanying Anushka to the Oberoi mansion, claiming a share in the money she plans to obtain. Anushka refuses, while Neelam criticizes her behavior.
Lakshmi arrives and notices the tension. Malishka dismisses the incident as her falling and Shalu stepping on her feet. Shalu explains it was an accident but attempts to expose Malishka’s plan. Kiran interrupts, accusing Shalu of jealousy. Lakshmi defends Shalu, pointing out the lack of evidence and questioning their baseless accusations.
Neelam sides with Malishka, stating that regardless of intent, Shalu hurt Malishka. As a result, Lakshmi must take over all of Malishka’s responsibilities as the daughter-in-law. Lakshmi agrees calmly.
Later, Rishi notices Lakshmi in the dress he gifted her and compliments her. Malishka calls for Shalu, who spots Neelam approaching her sternly.
