The episode begins with Shalu reminiscing about her moments with Ayush and the recent happenings. She gets overwhelmed with emotions, she holds to a wooden pole and silently cries. The temple bells sound brings her out of her thoughts, prompting her to head toward the temple. Lakshmi follows and comes there. Shalu sits infront of the Goddess and prays for Ayush’s safety and wellbeing else she will die without him. She confesses that she never got the chance to express her true feelings for him and pleads with the goddess to protect him, admitting that she cannot imagine her life without him. Lakshmi looks on as Shalu speaks her heart out. She confronts Shalu, asking why she has denied her feelings if she can’t live without Ayush and love him so much. Shalu remains silent, avoiding the question. Lakshmi insists that she wants to know the answer.

At the police station, Anushka is locked in a cell by the Constable. Anushka warns her. The Constable informs her that she should get comfortable because she is not leaving anytime soon. Shalu tries to walk away, but Lakshmi stops her, pressing her for answers. She reminds Shalu that Ayush truly loves her and even asked for her help in winning her over. She also explains how Ayush had to marry Anushka and in what circumstances. Anushka threatens a female constable, but she shuts her down, warning her that their Inspector will deal with her if she doesn’t behave. Anushka stays quiet
Lakshmi continues to persuade Shalu, asking her to listen to her heart. She asks why did you refuse him, he told that he loves you so much, and you have pretended as if you are unaware of his feelings. She asks did you do right? Shalu cries. Lakshmi says you have hurt him, instead you shall have given him happiness.

She says Ayush never stopped loving you. She says he told Anushka about you. She says when Ayush learned about Anushka’s betrayal, he didn’t waste any time to propose you. She says rather than accepting his proposal, you have hurt him. She says you saw how I stayed without Rishi in all these years and asks why you are hurting Ayush, if you don’t love him. Shalu finally opens up, saying she loves Ayush deeply and immensely, but can’t bear to see him suffer all life and can’t break his life. Lakshmi gets confused and asks why she rejected him. Anushka blames Lakshmi for everything, believing that if Lakshmi had never entered Rishi’s life, then Shalu wouldn’t have come into Ayush’s life, and this wouldn’t have happening. She vows to take revenge on Lakshmi and Shalu.

Lakshmi asks Shalu, why did you refuse him? Shalu then reminds Lakshmi that one person in the house will not accept me. She says I am talking about Neelam aunty, who controls the household, and she has always been against her. Kiran tells Neelam that Ayush is in safe hands. Neelam says she wants to see her son with her own eyes, and once I see him fine, I will be relieved that he is out of danger. Rishi pacifies her and asks her to sit. Neelam tells that she is worried as if something is not right with him. Aanchal says no. Karishma says Ayush is her son, but Neelam regards him as her son. She asks Rishi to talk to Doctor. Rishi decides to check with the doctor.

Lakshmi reassures Shalu that Neelam doesn’t hate her, but Shalu insists that while Neelam may not hate her (Shalu), she hates her (Lakshmi) and will never allow this marriage. She praises Ayush. Kiran tells Neelam and Karishma that she knows how Neelam believes in Kundali and destiny. She says she is saying the fact, and believes Shalu is a bad omen for Ayush, blaming her for all the troubles in his life. She says Doctor said that he is fighting with the death, because of Shalu. Neelam disagrees, saying she will not say this, as she doesn’t believe. Shalu tells Lakshmi that he will lose Neelam and Karishma if she comes in his life, he will lose his work. Lakshmi asks if she is thinking about Rishi. Shalu says he will not change with Ayush. She says marriages get bad sight in this house, and asks her to see Rishi and her marriage. Neelam tells that she doesn’t think that she doesn’t believe that because of Shalu, this is happening. She says Shalu is lucky for Ayush. Kiran asks what, lucky? Neelam says yes.
