Mahira Sharma who rose to fame with her stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 13 is now all set to make her debut on the big screen. In the past two years, the actress has kept herself busy with music videos and appearances. Mahira recently shared a cryptic post on her Instagram account a few days back saying, ‘It’s time for a new chapter.’
Now according to the latest reports, Mahira will be soon making her debut in a Punjabi film. A source close to the actress, said, “Mahira will be soon seen in a Pollywood film. The film will be shot in London and other places in the United Kingdom. The genre is rom-com and her hero will be a known name from the Punjabi industry. The details have been kept under wraps.”
Earlier there were also rumors about her going to be a part of Naagin 6. For the unversed, Mahira has been a part of TV shows like Kundali Bhagya, Bepannah Pyaar among others.
Earlier in an interview with BT, when asked about what kind of work she wants to do now, she said, “I want to work in a film where I have enough scope to perform and can showcase my acting abilities. I always wanted to do a female-oriented film where I get to play an adventurous character.”
On the personal front, Mahira is currently dating actor Paras Chhabra whom she met on Bigg Boss.
