Bigg Boss 13 fame Paras Chhabra on achieving remarkable physical transformation after battling anxiety
Actor Paras Chhabra, renowned for his appearance in Bigg Boss 13, has successfully realized his long-standing goal over the past several months. Overcoming the challenges posed by anxiety-induced weight gain, Paras has not only regained his fitness but has also reattained the structure of his six-pack abdominal muscles, although he humorously clarifies, “Well, not fully the abs, but the framework is back.”
In a recent interview, Paras talked about it while staunchly opposing the notion of adhering to six or eight-pack abs as a standard of health. He explains, “It’s an unhealthy approach. One could resort to methods like using steroids, which I did at one point. However, the fleeting nature of their effects negates the risk. I concluded that the gamble wasn’t worthwhile for me. While I used to exclusively wear loose clothing, I’ve now transitioned back to fitted T-shirts. I enjoy a varied diet and indulge in my preferences, yet my trainer tailors my workouts to align with my lifestyle and dietary needs. My focus is firmly directed on self-improvement.”
In a remarkable feat, Paras Chhabra has impressively shed 25 kgs, dropping from 125 kgs to 100 kgs, showcasing an inspirational journey of transformation.
The past couple of years have posed significant challenges for Paras, as he grappled with anxiety. In a previous interview, Paras candidly shared his mental health journey, stating, “I am currently experiencing a positive state of mental well-being after a considerable period. Consulting a proficient mental health professional helped me address my anxiety. Through this, I learned that the struggles I faced were a normal consequence of my profession. The irregular routines inherent to an actor’s life, combined with intermittent gaps between projects, played a substantial role in my experience, especially considering the extended duration of my gap.”
