Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia who met inside the Bigg Boss 15 house and fall in love are still going strong. Eijaz in a recent chat with ETimes TV opened up about how his marriage plans with Pavitra Punia. He shared that Pavitra and he are under constant pressure from the fans to get married soon.
He said, “Everyone is putting so much pressure on us for marriage. There are so many things that are involved and we have to first sort those things. Whenever I post a picture on Instagram everyone keeps asking when the marriage is happening in the comments. I would just ask everyone to pray for us to get married soon. Pavitra’s father has not been keeping well and there are other things that we need to deal with first, then the marriage will happen. Good things always take time to happen,”
Talking about his Bigg Boss journey, Eijaz shared, “All the love that’s coming my way makes me feel good. Before Kavyanjali, I used to dance on stage and I still had fans. Whenever I danced on stage like once I was dancing in LA with Salman Bhai, there were people with placards that had my name. I would get so overwhelmed seeing all that. I’ve been working for 20 years now and I don’t want to boast about it. I did my first film in 2000 Maine Dil Tujhko Diya and before that, I had done a few songs and now it is almost 21 years since I’ve been working. I feel blessed. I feel happy that people actually loved me for who I am in real life. They did not just love my characters but also my real self. I will always strive to do better in life,”
When asked if he is following Bigg Boss 15 he said, “No, I am not watching Bigg Boss 15. The main reason is I don’t have a filter and if I don’t like anything I might tweet about it, which I don’t want to do. Frankly, I want to detach myself completely from that universe, otherwise, you are stuck in that world. I have nothing against the show and I enjoyed my time over there. I thank Salman Bhai for supporting me so many times. I even thank the contestants who lived the journey with me,”
The Bigg Boss 14 fame actor is currently working on his acting skills. He concludes by saying, “I want to brush up my acting skills and I’ve not been getting time for it. So now I am planning to do theatre. And if everything goes well I will take up a play this month.”
