Bigg Boss 16 fame Sumbul Touqeer talks about her current equation with Imlie co-star Fahmaan Khan
Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Fahmaan Khan who are both known for their role in Imlie enjoy a massive fan following. The duo is loved by many for their on-screen chemistry as well as their off-screen bond. However, due to their hectic schedules, the two have not been able to stay in contact with each other.
This has also given a spark to the rumors about their friendships going kaput. Sumbul tried to clear the air and talked about it in a recent interview with ETimes TV.
She said, “Yes, I am still friends with Fahmaan Khan but as we both are busy with our projects, we hardly get time to catch up. We worked together on a show but now we are working individually on different projects. Hence, we don’t get time to stay in contact. When we shot for Entertainment Ki Raat we met there. But when he is shooting for his daily soap, then we hardly get time to talk or connect.”
Reacting to the ongoing war between their fandoms, Sumbul said, “I don’t understand why the fans are fighting. Kyu Lad rahe ho sab Accha toh chal raha hai.., I am working on good things, he’s also working on good projects. I don’t understand the logic behind fighting. I would say stop fighting and have fun in life. If you come across any scene of his in which he has performed well, see that and get happy, if I do something, enjoy that as well.”
Talking about how it is normal in this industry to get busy with work and lose a connection with your previous co-stars, the actress shared, “I think everyone will agree with this that when you are working on a show, you meet daily. Because there is no option. But it is not necessary that when you work on different shows, you will still be in contact. You start having a different life and routine. You have a different set of co-actors, life. Utna waqt nahi de paata koi bhi and it’s not like it is happening to me for the first time or with Fahmaan and me. It has happened to me, I did a show called Ishaaron Ishaaron and now I am not in regular touch with them but when I was working with them, I was quite close. When life moves on everyone gets busy with their lives.”
