Bigg Boss 16: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia talks about her upcoming projects
Bigg Boss 16 has been one of the most successful seasons of the reality show. Most of the contestants have been in buzz for their stint in the Bigg Boss 16 house and their upcoming projects. In her recent interaction with the media, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia talked about her upcoming projects and being in touch with Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan.
She said, “We all became a family in the house. I am in touch with Stan, we talk a lot on call, regularly. Or we would exclusively go to each other’s place and meet up that doesn’t get papped by the media. We are all in touch with each other. We do meet, chill and connect.”
When asked about her upcoming projects, Nimrit replied, “I do believe that if you say everything before things happen then it may get jinxed. I know it is old-school but I do believe in it so you will have to wait till I make an announcement about my upcoming projects. I strongly believe that my work must speak for me, so yes I would like to refrain at this point.”
Nimrit has been vocal about mental health. Talking about it, she said, “It wasn’t a mudda, but yes it wasn’t an intentional discussion, I was genuinely not feeling well. I had even asked Bigg Boss if I could have a conversation alone with BB. As I didn’t want it to be a point of discussion for everyone. Even after talking to Bigg Boss, I kept seeking assurance. Mental health is something that is close to my heart and I have always been vocal about it. I reckon people used to tell me in my initial days that if you talk about your mental health then it would be difficult to get work. I will work towards this cause and I am happy that it inspired people.”
When asked if she will return to daily soaps, she said, “Yes, Ekta Ma’am has definitely offered the film. I would never say no to work ever as long as I get what I love. I am just hungry to try new things irrespective of the medium. I don’t have aspirations like having a car or a new house, my way of looking at life is very different. I would like to grow professionally in terms of my skills. I believe that never say never. So I would love to do a project that intrigues me.”
For the unversed, Ekta Kapoor offered Nimrit a pivotal role in her upcoming movie Love s*x Aur Dhoka 2 while she was in the Bigg Boss 16 house.
