Bigg Boss 16 Star Abdu Rozik Postpones Wedding for First Title Boxing Match

Abdu Rozik, the 20-year-old Tajikistani singer who gained fame on Salman Khan’s reality show “Bigg Boss 16,” recently announced his wedding plans in April 2024. Abdu and his fiancée, Amira, got engaged on April 24 and were set to marry in July.

However, Abdu has decided to postpone the wedding due to work commitments. In an interview with ETimes TV, he revealed that he has been offered his first-ever title boxing fight, scheduled for July 6, just one day before his original wedding date. Recognizing the significance of this opportunity, Abdu chose to reschedule the wedding to focus on his training and the upcoming match.

Expressing his excitement, Abdu said, “I never imagined that I’d get a chance to fight for a title in my life. After so many good things happening this year for my career and my love life, unfortunately, I have to postpone the wedding as this match will give us huge financial security for the future.”

Amira, his fiancée, fully supports his decision, understanding the importance of this opportunity for their future. Abdu added, “It’s the first-ever title for someone my size, and I have a heavy training camp to endure as well these days.”

The new wedding date has not yet been announced, but Abdu assured his fans that the wedding will take place soon after his highly anticipated boxing match.

Amira, 19, lives in Sharjah, UAE, and is currently studying business administration. Their love story began when Abdu met Amira at an eatery in Dubai, where he instantly fell for her. Abdu was the first to approach her, and they have known each other for the past four months.

On April 24, 2024, Abdu and Amira got engaged in an intimate ceremony at Majlis Sharjah, and Abdu shared the engagement news on social media on May 10.

In terms of his career, Abdu Rozik was last seen as a guest on the grand finale night of “Bigg Boss 17.”
