Bigg Boss 16: Tina Datta recalls the days when even basic necessities were rare for her
Uttaran fame Tina Datta who is currently a part of Bigg Boss 16 is moving towards the trophy with a steady pace. After years of refusing to be a part of Bigg Boss16, the actress finally gave in and went ahead to enter into the Bigg Boss house this year.
Tina who was recently in news for her face-off with Manya Singh over household duties is already being touted as one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 16. Tina’s bond with co-contestant Abdu Rozik is also garnering a lot of love from the viewers.
The actress recently revealed a very emotional side of her life during her conversation with contestant Shiv Thakare. She talked about her days in Kolkata during her 8th and 9th standard where in spite of being offered acting projects based in Mumbai, she was not able to move to Mumbai as the flight ticket prices were very high.
Tina spoke about being from a middle-class family and shared that even basic necessities like an internet connection would only be provided rarely. She shared that the first few audition calls she received were via email, which she only got to check during Durga Puja when an internet connection was a temporary luxury for them during those five-six days.
