Salman Khan is gearing up for the much-awaited 18th season of the hit reality show Bigg Boss, and the buzz around potential contestants is already building. One of the names that has surfaced is popular YouTuber Maxtern, also known as Sagar Thakur, who is reportedly in talks with the show’s producers.
According to reports from TellyChakkar, Sagar Thakur has been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss 18. While he hasn’t officially signed a contract yet, sources suggest that he may soon be on board. However, there is no confirmed word from either Thakur or the producers about his participation at this stage.
Sagar Thakur caught the public’s attention earlier this year in March when he accused fellow YouTuber Elvish Yadav of issuing death threats. Thakur shared details of the incident, stating, “Bhaisaab, jaan se maarne ki dhamki de gaye hain. Main toh akela tha. Elvish bhai saath mein bahut saare bande laaye the,” expressing concern about the number of people involved. He further revealed that he had sustained injuries during the altercation, and promised to release a full video of the incident, adding that he had a recording of the events. The video he later shared showed Elvish Yadav assaulting him with kicks, slaps, and physical violence.
Following the clash, Sagar filed an official complaint (FIR) against Yadav, alleging that Elvish had aimed to cause permanent damage by attempting to break his spine. Sagar claimed this would have left him physically disabled.
Elvish Yadav responded with a video of his own, offering his version of events. He alleged that Sagar had pre-planned the confrontation by placing hidden recording devices at their meeting location. According to Elvish, Sagar had been posting negative content about him for months, leading to harassment. Elvish also accused Thakur of threatening his family, which escalated the situation between the two YouTubers.
Despite their public fallout, the tension between Maxtern and Elvish Yadav eventually seemed to ease. In a surprising turn of events, Elvish shared a picture of the two together, smiling for the camera. The former rivals even collaborated on a music video titled Rao Sahab Rollin, signaling that they had put their differences behind them.
With Sagar Thakur now rumored to be joining Bigg Boss 18, viewers are eager to see how the YouTuber will fare in the house, especially with his controversial past in the public eye. As the show continues to tease its lineup, Thakur’s possible entry is sure to add an extra layer of intrigue to the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more updates on Bigg Boss 18!
