Actress and single mother Dalljiet Kaur has added another feather to her cap. Dalljiet is all set to try her hands in filmmaking now as she has now turned into a writer, and producer. Dalljiet recently announced her series of short films earlier this year slated to release in the coming months.
Dalljiet recently announced Bigg Boss 14 lovebirds Pavitra Punia and Eijaz Khan to be in one of his short films where they will be cast opposite each other for the first time ever in her upcoming supernatural thriller.
One of her upcoming projects is going to be a thriller starring Akshara Singh. For the unversed, Akshara who rose to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss OTT is a reigning Bhojpuri actress and also has done noteworthy work on Indian television and films. Dalljiet and Akshara were co-stars in Kaala Teeka.
Dalljiet and Akshara are often seen hanging out together and have remained good friends since their stint in Kaala Teeka. Dalljiet was also rooting for her while she was in the Bigg Boss house.
In a recent interview with BT, Dalljeit shared, “This is yet another thriller and I’m excited to work with Akshara who’s done a fab job. We shot this film in Mumbai. I love how it has turned out to be. Akshara’s fans will love to see her in a new avatar.”
