Bigg Boss OTT 2: Elvish Yadav’s controversial remarks draw criticism; Aashika Bhatia opens up on Elimination and Friendships
During the weekend episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, a tense moment unfolded as Salman Khan reprimanded wild card entrant Elvish Yadav for making offensive remarks about fellow contestant Bebika Dhurve. Despite expressing regret and apologizing to Bebika, Elvish’s actions drew criticism from both inside the house and a section of the audience.
Recently eliminated contestant Aashika Bhatia shed light on the incident, revealing her perspective on Elvish’s behavior. According to Aashika, Elvish’s intentions might not have been malicious, but his words can sometimes be harsh. She acknowledged advising him to be more mindful of his language and was glad to see him apologize to Bebika and try to make amends.
Having entered the Bigg Boss house only a few weeks ago, Aashika initially felt nervous but quickly found comfort and forged strong friendships with Manisha Rani, Abhishek Malhan, and Elvish. Addressing speculations that she was influenced by Manisha, Aashika clarified that she always listened to everyone’s opinions but ultimately made her decisions based on her own reasons and instincts.
During her stint, host Salman Khan raised concerns about Manisha’s influence on Aashika’s romantic storyline with Abhishek. However, Aashika asserted that she followed her own instincts and did what she believed was right, irrespective of others’ opinions.
With her journey in the house coming to an end, Aashika expressed hope that someone from her squad, namely Manisha, Abhishek, or Elvish, would lift the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy. She also shared her opinions on other contestants, stating her displeasure with Jad Hadid’s cribbing nature and Jiya Shankar’s lack of initiative in building connections.
As the show progresses, the dynamics inside the house continue to evolve, with alliances and conflicts shaping the journey of the contestants vying for the coveted Bigg Boss trophy.
