Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame Bebika Dhurve opens up about quitting Bhagyalakshmi; says, “Co-Stars ill-treated me”
Bebika Dhurve, currently a contestant in the Bigg Boss house, has wasted no time in making friends and sharing her personal journey of becoming a dentist and pursuing acting while working in the UAE. Although she made her television debut with the show Bhagyalakshmi, starring Rohit Suchanti and Aishwarya Khare, her stint on the show was short-lived as she chose to quit. During a recent interview, Bebika talked about her decision to leave Bhagyalakshmi and shared that it was not influenced by her participation in Bigg Boss OTT 2 but rather due to other circumstances.
Reflecting on her experience, Bebika shared, “My journey with the show has been quite an adventure. It was a difficult path for me to enter production and secure the role. I had been auditioning for three years before landing the show. As a newcomer on set, I was learning about acting and being in front of the camera for the first time.”
She continued, “During that time, I went through a phase in my personal life where some of my co-stars ill-treated me, and I had unpleasant experiences with the cast and crew. So, my decision to quit the show was not because of Bigg Boss OTT 2, but rather due to the mistreatment I faced on the sets.”
Discussing her swift transition to participating in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Bebika remarked, “I wasn’t expecting such a wonderful opportunity to come my way so quickly. From my experience, I would like to convey that one should not lose hope during challenging times. A better life and happier phase await on the other side. I consider Bhagyalakshmi as my testing phase, and now I believe everything will turn out well for me.”
When asked about whom she would choose to bring into the Bigg Boss house from her friends and co-stars, Bebika enthusiastically shared, “I would love to have my dadi (grandmother) from Bhagyalakshmi inside the house. She is incredibly entertaining and fun. We could have engaging conversations and provide a lot of entertainment for the fans together.”
