Following his alleged attendance at a rave party in Noida last November, Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav finds himself embroiled in legal troubles as forensic reports confirm the presence of snake venom, specifically from Cobra and Krait species, in samples collected from the event.
Reports indicate that Yadav, along with five others, was booked under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A of the Indian Penal Code for purportedly supplying snake venom for the party in Sector 51 of Noida. While five individuals were arrested, Yadav was questioned in connection with the case, although he denies being present at the party and instead is accused of providing the venom.
The raid on the rave party stemmed from suspicions of snake venom being used as a form of intoxication by attendees. During police interrogation, Yadav mentioned Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, stating that the reptiles seen in his video were arranged by the singer. Fazilpuria, however, denied any involvement with rave parties, explaining that the reptiles were procured by a production house for a music video.
The police operation, triggered by a sting operation conducted by People For Animals NGO, led to the arrest of five individuals and the seizure of several snakes. Yadav was subsequently questioned at the Sector 20 police station, accompanied by legal representation, and faces charges under wildlife protection laws and criminal conspiracy statutes.
Yadav’s legal woes escalated further following a recent incident where he slapped a man at a restaurant, captured in a viral video. Responding to the controversy, Yadav stated, “I am not interested in fighting or slapping someone. However, if someone makes a personal remark, I don’t spare them.”
The unfolding legal saga casts a shadow over Yadav’s reputation, prompting scrutiny from both legal authorities and public opinion.
