Armaan Malik, a well-known YouTuber, has entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house alongside both his wives, Payal and Kritika. The vlogger has received mixed reactions from industry personalities, with some supporting him and others criticizing him. However, the situation took a negative turn when he compared himself to the late actor Sidharth Shukla.
In an interview with a media portal, Armaan addressed the controversies surrounding his marital status. While discussing his polygamous marriage to Payal and Kritika, Armaan drew parallels between his personality and that of Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. These remarks did not sit well with netizens, who criticized the YouTuber for his comparison. Here’s how users on X (formerly known as Twitter) reacted to his statements.
In a conversation with India Today, Armaan Malik mentioned that his personality is very similar to Sidharth Shukla’s. The YouTuber elaborated on his connection with the late actor.
“I also feel that we both are very alike in a way that we keep to ourselves. He was someone who was usually calm and kept to himself unless provoked, and I feel that’s also me as a person,” remarked Armaan.
Furthermore, the Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant asserted that he had followed Siddharth’s journey and felt a strong connection with the Balika Vadhu actor.
In one of the promo clips released by the makers on social media, Payal Malik is seen crying while discussing her husband’s marriage to Kritika. She revealed that she received a call from Armaan, and before he could explain, Payal already understood that he had married Kritika.
Later, when Munisha asked if she felt betrayed when her best friend married Armaan, Payal could not answer and started crying. Her fellow housemates tried to console her as she became emotional and teary-eyed.
