Upon entering the Bigg Boss house, Faruqui engaged in sincere discussions with the participants. In one conversation with actor Ranvir Shorey, Munawar asked a pressing question: Did Ranvir believe that his challenging demeanor might be affecting his career opportunities?
Throughout the season, Ranvir Shorey has candidly mentioned his struggles with securing acting roles and admitted to participating in the show for financial reasons. Munawar seized this opportunity to ask if Ranvir felt that his perceived attitude might be deterring potential collaborators.
Ranvir Shorey responded thoughtfully, “When it comes to working repeatedly with certain directors, I have done that. But in our industry, misunderstandings can arise quite easily.”
Expanding on his point, Ranvir explained, “For instance, just as you expect me to be punctual and perform my duties, I expect timely payment. However, some people find it strange when I hold them to the same standard. They expect punctuality from me but don’t see an issue with delayed payments.”
The actor from Traffic Signal further elaborated, “If you complain about such issues, they start speaking ill of you to others, which is how misunderstandings spread in the industry.”
Munawar then inquired, “Do you think this could be a reason for your situation?” Ranvir speculated, “It could be one of the reasons.”
When Munawar asked about his lack of work despite being a talented actor, Ranvir shared, “I think my networking skills are lacking. I haven’t mastered the ‘fake it till you make it’ approach, which is crucial in our business.”
Ranvir also mentioned that while he strives for genuine connections, misunderstandings often arise, challenging one’s integrity.
