Bigg Boss OTT 3 kicked off with a grand premiere on June 21, capturing audience attention with its exciting start. Hosted by the beloved Anil Kapoor, the show introduced a lineup of dynamic contestants, including Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Sultan Khan, Chandrika Dixit (the Vada Pav Girl), Vishal Pandey, Sana Makbul, Poulomi Das, Shivani Kumari, Ranvir Shorey, Deepak Chaurasia, Armaan Malik, Payal Malik, Munisha Khatwani, Kritika Malik, and Neeraj Goyat.
Sai Ketan Rao, fresh off his role in the TV show Imlie, made a swift return to screens with his entry into Bigg Boss OTT 3. In a candid interview, he shared his reasons for joining the show, revealing a desire to overcome a personal fear. “I have done several TV shows and people have loved my characters,” he said. “Now, I want to do something different for myself and for the people around me. I want to show my personality in front of the public and in front of the camera because since my childhood, I have been scared to present myself in front of the camera as Sai. I freeze and sometimes I don’t understand what to say. So, I want to overcome this fear of mine.”
Rao also expressed his ambition to reach a broader audience through Bigg Boss OTT 3. “Bigg Boss has a wide range of audiences who do not watch TV shows. So, I want to capture that audience. I just want to win everyone’s hearts.”
Commenting on Anil Kapoor’s role as the host, Rao said, “He is a fantastic man and I have seen many of his movies. His style is different and he has a fantastic charisma. He has a swag. So, I really want to see that swag while he is hosting Bigg Boss OTT season 3.”
Despite his excitement, Rao admitted he would miss Salman Khan, who previously hosted the show. “Salman sir is another fantastic personality. As a fan boy, I will not be able to meet him this time. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to click a picture with him. But I hope in the future, I will work with him and meet him somewhere. I am looking forward to that.”
