Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has lent a helping hand to ailing veteran actress Savita Bajaj by transferring a huge amount in her account. Nupur Alankar, care committee member of CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists Association) who has been looking after Savita Bajaj talked about it in an interview with ETimes TV, she said, “Actress Rajeshwari Sachdeva had posted on her Instagram about Savitaji, Ayushmaan called her and transferred the money which was a huge relief for us, as we were able to discharge her from the hospital.”
CINTAA also helped Savita Bajaj earlier with an amount of Rs. 50,000/- and monthly expense of Rs. 5000/- for her expenses and medicines from the past few years. Actor Jackie Shroff, who is known for his kind heart too helped Savita Bajaj by transferring a decent amount into her account. Savita Bajaj has now been diagnosed with emphysema (a condition that involves damage to the walls of the air sacs. The actress will need oxygen support.
Talking about it, Nupur further added, “Sonu Sood has donated an oxygen concentrator which will also be of use to her.”
Savita Bajaj, in a recent interview, said, “I am feeling better. Nupur has been like a Godsend to me. She assured me that she would be by my side throughout and kept her word. She visited me at the hospital daily. Nupur and her sister, Jigyaasa, have brought me to their home. It seems like a miracle. Mujhe lagta hai mujhe nayi zindagi mil gayi.”
