Maitree gets surprised as someone called by her name. She started thinking about Gandharva and suddenly the voice was heard again.

Maitree looked confusingly and was surprised to see Ashish . They both looked each other and smiled..
Ashish : What a pleasant surprise. You are studying here…But I never saw you before…
Maitree : Because I joined today only. First year B.Com.
Ashish ; Oh !! So I am your super senior….Iam doing final year M.Com.
Maitree ; Post Graduation !! That’s something big…I don’t know whether I can study that much. At least I got permission to do graduation itself is a big thing for me..
Ashish : Why ?Is there any problem ?
Maitree : No ….I mean…..I…
Ashish : It’s alright. You may feel strange to share things with the persons whom you know less. Out of curiosity only I asked ….By the way Hearty Welcome to our College.
Maitree : Thanks. Actually this is the first time I have come so long….You know na about my village Sambhapur ….There mostly girls are not allowed to do higher studies.
Ashish : I have heard about it little a bit. But comparitively our village Udaipur is progressive. Here things are changing and I don’t know why Sambhapur people are not allowing nearest villagers to go there ?
Maitree : Ashish Ji !! That day anything happened to you …..I mean the road where we meet is actually the border of both villages…..If my villagers would have find me with you then they would have reported that to Dadi and if Gandharva gets to know may be he would have beat you or he would have harm you..
Ashish ; Is it ? Then I will come there always ……Gandharva will beat me!!! Seriously Maitree!!
Ashish laughed..
Maitree : It’s not a matter of joke. It’s a serious thing. There are so many things which needs to be changed in my village…..
Ashish : Maitree are you okay ?
Maitree : Yeah…Why you asked like that ?
Ashish : Please don’t take me wrong. That day you suddenly came in front of my car and you was mentionting about rajkumar or something…
Maitree : Gandharva…
Ashish : Exactly !! Did you find your Gandharva again ? I must say that guy has affected your state of mind deeply …..That’s why you was behaving…..
Maitree started getting scared recalling the last night’s moments of hers with Gandharva
Ashish : I am sorry ….I would not have asked that much personal thing to you…Please leave it….Be cool…Maitree..Maitree!!
Maitree : Haan!!
Maitree came back to her senses..
Ashish ; I am sorry …I won’t repeat it..
Maitree : It’s alright….By the way where is the commerce department ?
Ashish : It’s on third floor. Actually we both are at the same floor. So let’s go together..
Maitree : No Thanks…I will go myself….
Ashish ; If I come with you here will your Gandharva come and beat me , is it ?
Maitree : Please don’t say it again….
Ashish : Relax, I was just making fun only…..
Both Maitree and Ashish went to their respective class rooms. And when the classes got finished Maitree came out and she saw Ashish sitting at a corner. Maitree went near Ashish and she got shocked to see a small wound at his head.
Maitree : Ashsih Ji Yeh chot kaise lagi ?
Ashish : Maitree nothing big…..I hardly remember …I was just washing my face and suddenly my head got hit at the wall..But how it happened I don’t know…..I felt like some one pushed me towards the wall and my forehead got hit …..
Maitree feels extremely scared . She recalled how Gandharva forcefully grabbed her hand and she felt doubt was this done by Gandharva only..
Ashish : It’s bleeding a bit.
Maitree : Let me see..
Maitree caressed the wound and applied a band aid on the wound.
Ashish and Maitree looked into each other’s eyes deeply.
Maitree : Please take care Ashish Ji…
Ashish : Do I look like an uncle ?
Maitree ; No, why you are telling so..
Ashsih : Maitree Ashish is enough….There is no need to call Ji….
Maitree : But aap mujhse bade hein….Aur badon ko aise kaise naam se bulawun ? Dadi kehti hein….
Ashish : Arrey oh meri Dadi kee laadli please Ji ko thoda side kar do aur Ashsih bulawo naa…Please..
Maitree : But how can I ?
Ashish : See if you won’t stop calling me Ji then I will …I will call you Dadi Maa!!! Don’t stare me like that I am serious….I will call you Dadi Maa if you dare to call me Ashish Ji …..Do you get that Maitree ?
Maitree find this as very cute and she quickly started laughing . Ashish also started laughing..
That was the beginning of a new bonding between Ashish and Maitree.
Maitree : You are so crazy Ashish J….I mean Ashish ..
Ashish : Better……
Maitree :Okay now I need to go….If I miss this bus then I will reach very late at home….And Dadi will fume her anger on me…
Ashish : Why you are scared off your Dadi ?
Maitree : Ashish I need to leave.. We will talk later…Bye…
Maitree ran from there and Ashish looked her with a smile…
Maitree reached her home .
Dadi : Maitree how was your first day at college?
Maitree : It’s good Dadi….
Dadi : Remember don’t talk with any boys and don’t make any people especially boys as your friends…Gandharva won’t like it….If you did it he will punish you and them also….And one thing don’t forget to light the lamp at Gandharva Mandir in night.
Mairee nodded her head and went to her room. And when the night arrived she went to the backyard of house for lighting the lamp . She lighted the lamp and turned to go. But suddenly she heard some sounds from the Mandir. Maitree gets extremely fear and she looked inside the Mandir
To her shock she find a shadow which was fledged with blood.
Maitree !! A voice was heard but no one was visible…
Maitree ; Who are you ?
Suddenly a lady came infront of her . Maitree was extremely shocked because it was Kalyani .
Kalyani : Maitree mein hoon Kalyani Buwa Maasa….Yeh payal mujhe Gandharva ne diya thaa…..Par …..
Maitree : Buwa Maasa what I am seeing now is it true ? Are you alive ?
Kalyani : Only you can see me as young Kalyani. If any other will see me they will call me as Ghost …….I am already dead and my soul is been tied inside this Gandharva Mandir …..Because he has to gain powers…..Leave this place Maitree, leave this village …Destroy this Mandir ……Destroy it… I came here to warn you….Today you just find a wound only….But perhaps you may find so much blood before your eyes…..If you talk with him Gandharva will punsih him….Don’t do it….
Kalyani got disappeared and Maitree find those blood shaded shadow has gone. She feels so much fear.
