Pragya was helping Jaya ma to bring the flowers from garden. She was plucking the flowers & placing it in the basket.
Abhi in his husky tone “Dodo…what are you doing??”
Pragya jerked hearing his voice suddenly and was almost about to drop the basket when he got hold of it.
Abhi “Let me hold it for you.”
Pragya “I can hold it myself.”
Abhi “I know but it doesn’t look nice when a flower itself holds it.”
Pragya frowned at him.
Abhi “I was complimenting you dear Dodo…”
Pragya was about to walk away when he pulled her in his embrace.
Pragya “What the hell!! Leave me alone!!”
Abhi tugging her hair behind her ears “You look very fresh in the morning!!”
Pragya was protesting in his grip & he controlled her by saying “Let me feel your freshness!”
He said that by kissing her cheeks.
He left her seeing his Ma coming from a distance.
Pragya touching both her cheeks was standing in shock.
Meanwhile Abhi left from there without being seen by his Ma.
Jaya Ma told her she will continue this & asked her to get in to make arrangements for prayers.
Pragya went in & was furious to hear his whistle sounds.
Abhi exclaimed “Dodo!!!”
Pragya furiously “How dare you do like that??”
Abhi in a mocking tone “Why Dodo?? You want to do it ah?”
Pragya bracing herself pulled him towards her. Abhi looked excited but was shaking his head as no when he saw his dad approaching them from back.
Pragya “You think only you know how to disturb me?? Irritating idiot!!!”
She pushed him away & saw Abhi’s father giving a disgusting look.
Abhi “Good morning Dad!”
Prem yelled “Jaya!!!!”
Pragya feared hearing to his loud voice but Abhi looked as if nothing happened.
Jaya rushed & asked what happened now.
Prem asked to proceed their marriage plans as soon as possible if not people here will roam in this house like lovers in beach, park & theaters.
Pragya hearing it gasped while Abhi raised his eyebrows & made a pout towards her.
Pragya looked away, even now he is coming up in stupid antics.
Jaya agreed to him & said that end of this week will be the engagement function.
The day came.
Abhi smiled as she was walking down the stairs accompanied by her sister and other cousins.
Bulbul: Dodo! Finally you are getting your man! How charmingly he is looking at you! After today u are officially his girl!
Bulbul teased further but Pragya couldn’t accept any of this. Today is her engagement but she finds this fast.
She recollected the events leading to this day. She met him was outside her workplace. He gave her some cake and asked her to remind the time she was with teddy bear. A week later, he came with his parents and asked her for marriage. Before she could say no, her Ma said yes.
Pragya had no choice as Ma warned her no denial for this proposal again as she had enough of her tantrums about marriage.
And now she is going to get engaged to the person called NS aka Abhi.
She felt she never win her challenge given by him. She failed to find his name. She failed to not think about him. She failed to hate him.
Yes she likes him. Whenever he comes and disturbs her she feels irritated but it was intriguing too.
She sat beside him thinking how did he even choose her again. On top of that, he is a millionaire’s son, why did he wants her.
Pragya asked herself by looking at him from the corner of her eyes. She remembered his words when he told Jaya Ma. He wants to make memories. What memories is that??
Abhi caught her looking at him. He winked at her which made her look elsewhere.
Pragya, The most unbelievable thing is he didn’t choose me out of love. Who would believe if I tell this. Everyone around me feel that he loves me so much that he has forgiven me for rejecting him last time. They think out of love he disturbed me and now I had fallen in love with him! But how can I tell that I just like his disturbances as it was fun but love? I don’t know him as a person to fall in love! And what I know is, he is jobless! I saw him being scolded by Mr Prem many times when I came to his house to see Jaya aunty. But all this doesn’t matter to my family as they are happy that i am marrying into a prestigious family.
My thoughts were interrupted when he called me in his husky tone.
Abhi “ Dodo…don’t fly away in your thoughts about me!”
Pragya widened her eyes thinking how he knows that she was thinking about him.
Abhi “ Very cute! Keep it up!” He whispered to her as his Dadi asked them to exchange the rings.
They exchanged the rings with everyone clapping but Pragya looked lost.
So after this what happened was the most funny thing. He asked me to come to the balcony.
I tried to avoid as being alone with him is something that makes me nervous.
Although, I never show that to him with my confused face but my body language always reveal that. However, my annoying sister never understands this. She lied to me saying that Jiju needs to talk to us about the wedding. I believed her but became a fool when she ran away after leaving me alone with him.
Abhi laughed at my expression when I gasped at my sister running away from there.
I looked back at him and he asked “ How’s the day?”
I replied him saying ok.
“Just ok?” He asked.
I remained silent as he said “Well, I am very much impressed with your beauty today so why not u try to do a challenge with me?”
“Challenge?” I asked with confusion.
He tried to walk towards me when I walked back hoping this is not like some romantic thing that happens in movies and serials.
Abhi “Dodo! I am not going to make any romantic move when I am not even in love with u!”
I stopped walking as he said that and he looked at me from top to bottom.
“ Why are u looking like that?” I asked him.
“ You are not wearing the lehenga bought by me!” He said sounding furious.
“ Wo…it’s the same design but different color…the one you bought was not fitting to me…” I said with my shaky voice as his intense look bothered me.
He stepped back and ruffled his hair in frustration.
“ Nothing fits in my life!” He said loudly.
I couldn’t understand what he meant. But I knew he was not happy with my words or maybe not happy with the dress I am wearing.
He composed himself by taking a deep breath.
“ It’s okay Dodo! Coming back to challenge, let me explain to u. First u need to find something that I like to wear. If u find that then u need to buy for me that too. Not now, but tomorrow..Can u do that?” He asked looking at me with his naughty smile.
I seriously don’t understand what is the rationale behind this challenge. I just agreed to it as I want to leave the place as soon as possible.
“ Ok bye then and see you soon!” He said and that’s it, I ran away from there in a lightning speed.
I could sense he was chuckling at me. But I had no time to look behind and respond to it.
Again there was misconception! When I ran back to my sister with him walking behind me, she thought we spent some romantic moment which made me to run out of shyness. She teased me very badly and on top of that he made signals that further made my sister teased me.
