Thanks for the concern friends! I am taking care of myself as I am resting more than needed. I do know health is very important friends! I am just typing this slowly like a tortoise ?? whenever I feel bored. Apart from resting, I do have other works that I do but typing ffs is just to keep myself to be happy???! So no worries friends!
Back to story:
Reaching out to him to find about him that’s what I beginned with but it ended into something else.
I was silently observing his actions. He was drinking cappuccino that I ordered. We are now at a coffee shop as I want to make my mood calm with a coffee.
“Why are you looking at me?” He asked raising his eyebrow.
“ Hmm…I am just thinking how can you be so calm? A person had insulted you with non-stop scolding and you don’t feel offended??” I asked with concern.
I don’t know why but I really do feel concerned about this man.
He smirked and continued sipping his cappuccino.
I gave a confused look and seeing it he stopped drinking.
“ Pragya…all this happens at work na…like boss showing their frustration on their subordinates, It’s very common!” He said casually.
“ Yes I do know that but that doesn’t mean we have to endure that right?” I retorted.
“ You see Pragya…It’s my fault in a way too, I had broken my sir’s precious award shield while wiping it…that made her angry towards me!” He said in a low tone.
“ Oh….” I said looking at him.
“Moreover, she is a bit short-tempered…” He said by taking the tissue on the table to wipe his lips.
“ A bit?” I asked him sternly.
He smiled and nodded his head in response.
“ So that means u are still going to work at that place?” I asked with concern again.
“ I have no choice Pragya….I am a manager there and I can’t be jobless as I have a family to support…” He said in a serious tone.
“ Manager? Then why do u have to wipe the shield? Don’t say there is only u around to do that kind of work!” I said in a very stern tone.
“ Not really…I saw it to be a bit dusty…and I know sir doesn’t like to see his awards and trophies to be with dirt! That’s why…” He said that in a low tone looking at his cup.
“ Ok…Don’t get upset for this…” I said looking at him.
“But now I am facing a problem…and it’s sadly because of you…” He said making me surprised.
“ Me? What did I do?” I asked in surprise.
“ All of a sudden you came in and argued with my boss na…so what will she think of me…or to be precise what will she think of us?” He said very worriedly.
Oh man! This psycho is such a scary cat! He looks so cute being worried and scared at the same time.
“ Hello!! Are u here?” He waved his hand in front of me making me back to senses.
“Haan…yes…” I said looking around.
“So how? If my job is at stake then I would only blame you Pragya!!” He said in a firm tone.
“ What? Are u mad? I help you from further being scolded and being slapped! But u are saying u would blame me?” I retorted back.
“ Of course Pragya! You are a journalist and can argue with points! But I am just a mere Manager who manages the work given to me!” He told his reasoning by straightly looking at me.
I was shocked of the fact that he even knows my job.
“I am sorry but how do u know I am a journalist?” I asked.
“ Your name tag! It’s clearly showing it off!” He said by pointing his finger towards it.
I quickly covered it with my hand.
“ Now it’s your responsibility to make sure my job is not being at risk!” He said that in an almost loud voice.
I looked around in fear of whether anyone is listening to us. Thankfully it was not peak hours so there was no one around.
“ Calm down! I will speak to her….” I said still looking around.
“ Well it’s not only about speaking to her….you have to apologise to her too!” He said.
“ What? Apologise? Me? Never ever!” I said that by frowning at him.
“ Excuse me…did I ask u to help me?” He asked.
“ No..” I said
“ Did I cried or shouted for HELP?” He asked again
“ No..” I said again
“ Then why the hell did u come and help me?” He asked by slightly beating the table.
“ Wo…I…actually…” I flustered with my words.
“ Actually this is the problem now!” He said sternly and warned me if his job was gone he will be after me for sure!
He walked off with anger and I was sitting there in total confused state.
What did I made and stuck myself into? Where is the value for humanity gone? I just went to help him as he really looked like a timid cat being tortured and helpless in front of that woman! But now I am feeling like a timid cat of his warning!
My phone rang and I picked up the call.
Abhi: I am warning you again Pragya! You better come back to where I work and say sorry to her!
Pragya: Kya? How did u get my number?
He ended the call by not saying anything and I was shell shocked.
I tried to recollect the events happened today. At first, he looked very much thankful to my help and I was thinking that I could somehow find who is he by talking to him. All of a sudden, his mood changed and in the end he wants me to apologise to that woman? How ridiculous is this?
Pragya was thinking about this and wondered how did he got her number too!
As for Abhi he walked back to his house and entered looking at his Ma sitting on the sofa looking anxiously.
Abhi: Jay! Why are u looking like this?
Jaya: Jay? Please Abhi! Give some respect to me!
Abhi: Ok Jaya! I will consider that….
He said that by sitting beside her.
Jaya anxiously: So what happened? What did she say?
Abhi: She is a fool Ma…
Jaya: Fool? You mean my future bahu is a fool?
Abhi: Nah…Not like that, she is more of a cute fool!
Jaya: Oh…..
She said that in a teasing tone making Abhi blushed.
Abhi: Yes very cute and especially when she gets shocked!
Jaya: Acha…then what else?
Abhi lying his head on her shoulder said: When she asks me something then she looks even more cute. Like her curiosity turns into concern towards me…
Jaya: Hmm…that means u are only noticing her expressions!
Abhi: Kind of…
Jaya: Oh Abhi…tell me what happened!
Abhi told whatever happened and Jaya hearing that chuckled.
Abhi: Ma…don’t laugh at Pragya…
Jaya: I am not laughing at her though.
Abhi: Then? Don’t say u are laughing at me!
He asked by moving away from her.
Jaya: I am!
Abhi stared at her in anger.
Jaya: I am laughing thinking of how my son is able to act so well!
Abhi: Ma…You know I am a multi-talented boy!
He said cheekily.
Jaya: Well that I can agree to a certain extent with what u are doing so far….
Abhi gave a proud smile hearing that.
Jaya: What’s next?
Abhi: Revenge!
Jaya shockingly: What? Why?
Abhi: Wait and watch! It’s a Ravishing Revenge!
Jaya couldn’t understand what he meant.
Jaya: Whatever Abhi but if Prem knows all this then he will surely kick u out of the house! Be aware of that! I can help u as long he is not around in the house….
Abhi: I don’t care Ma, all I need an answer from Pragya and after that it’s your responsibility to convince him!
Jaya: Oh Abhi…It’s not that easy but I will try my best….
Abhi: Even if he is not convinced, I don’t care as u are always with me….
Jaya smiled widely and hoped some day Abhi would be able to understand that his father is not that bad as he thinks.
He headed towards his room remembering his cute fool, Pragya and thought of something to make her come again.
