The Episode starts with Deva grabbing Jyoti’s husband’s collar and asks who are you to snatch their place from them (women). He says when the God didn’t discrimate between men and women then who are you? He warns him and goes. Jyoti’s husband says he got insulted and says he will leave. Savitri apologizes to him and says I will talkm to Deva. She asks Madan to see, if he needs anything. The guy says I am not going anywhere, I need water. Jyoti says I will serve you food. Madan says this cheap guy told many years that he will leave, but he never leaves. He says he is ready with his plan.

Deva comes out and hits the ground with the Mason’s axe. Tara comes there and asks why he is doing Mason work and asks him to vent out his anger on her. She says I thought you will dig the land.

Jyoti comes there and tells Deva that she came to apologize to him on her husband’s behalf. Deva tells that everyone is responsible for their own’s deeds. Jyoti apologizes to him and says she has duty towards her husband and motherly love for her son. She says tomorrow is your first makar sankranti, and tells that if they do the puja, then the family will have happiness and prosperity. Deva refuses to celebrate Makar Sankranti and goes. Tara apologizes to Jyoti. Savitri gives makar sankranti stuff to Tara and asks her to wake up at 4 am, do the puja and make til laddoos 1001. Tara gets shocked. Jyoti says how she will make it. Savitri says she shall do it. Tara says she will make. Jyoti offers help, just then her husband comes and asks her to set his bed. Tara says she will ask Basant kaka. He asks Jyoti to set the bed. Basant kaka comes to Tara and gives her file to keep safe, and says it has cheques to be signed by Deva. Tara says ok. Madan says he will keep the cheque and approval letter with deva’s sign for 10 lakhs, and says it will be the first installment for sugar mill. Tara keeps it in the safe. They peep from outside and goes.

Tara comes to Deva’s room in night. Deva asks why did you come here at this time. Tara says all the guest rooms are full so I have come to my husband’s room to sleep. Deva asks what you are saying? Tara says I am already tired, so don’t argue. He asks her to come out first and calls Basant Kaka. Tara asks him to let her sleep. She sleeps and snores. Deva hears her snoring. Tara wakes up at 4 am and goes to bath. She tells deva that she will get ready and will go. Deva asks why did you wake up so early. Tara says to do puja. He asks if your Nani maa or Sasumaa is not doing puja and asks if they will give you award. Tara says she is doing it for herself, with her happiness and says you didn’t let me fulfill the duty of a wife, atleast let me fulfill the duty of a bahu. Her bangles fall down as she is shivering. He picks it and makes her wear it. He makes her wear necklace and applies bindi. He gives her sindoor and she applies it in her hairline. He stops her and covers her with shawl. He then opens the door. She goes.

She goes to kitchen and makes sweets to make till laddoos. Deva goes out of his room. Madam comes there, opens the cupboard and keeps cheque and approval letter in it. He thinks he needs just a sign. He locks the cupboard and goes. Deva comes to kitchen and says he needs file now itself. Tara says I am making prasad. Deva says it is important. Tara tells that she will give. She goes. She comes back and finds the sweets burnt, and thinks it was fine when she left it here.

She says I told him to get the file later, but he wanted it now. She cries and thinks how to make prasad so soon. Deva says you curse me so much. Tara tells all the sesame got burnt. Deva says you went just a minute before. Savitri recalls adding burnt til in the kadai, so that Tara couldn’t make prasad and couldn’t make laddoo.
