Govishanka thinks there is something mattress and he has to clear his doubt. He heads towards mattress and is about to pull it when Chandragupta and Sthulbhadra stop him and plead not to touch it. Govishanka angrily asks if he is opposing him. Sthul says how can they oppose him and asks him to enjoy food while he and slave Chandragupta get this mattress away. Chandragupta thinks soon he will join his team and wage war against Dhananand. They carry mattress and lie unconscious Shubhra on cough with blanket on her face. Govishanka walks to her and tries to pull blanket when Chandragupta stops him and says he is princess’ bodyguard and will not let anyone disturb her. Govishanka asks what is Durdhara doing in this room. Chandragupta thinks of diverting his attention and acting as seeing

someone shouts Piplivan’s khsatriya Baldev has barged in and running out makes guard unconscious and shouts again Baldev did this and and ran in. Durdhara enters and asks what is happening. Govishanka asks howcome she is coming from other side. Chandragupta asks him to think of catching Baldev first. Govishanka says guard must have fallen unconscious due to heat and no enemy can enter here as Dhananand has already laid a poisonous trap and all Kshatriyas will die. Chandragupta gets concerned hearing that and runs to inform khsatriyas. Durdhara runs behind him and asks where is he going instead of protecting her. He says he has to go and this may be their last meeting. Durdhara stands confusing.

Dhanaand’s brother Pandu and Keyvrath with their battalion head towards Asaka as per Dhananand’s order. Kshatriyas head towards them. Keyvrath gets afraid hearing them and says khsatriyas are brave and expert in war tactics, they can finish us soon, so we should return back to Magadh. Pandu says it is better to fight them than getting killed by Dhananand. On the other side, Dhananand rejoices that kshatriyas will be dead soon. Bhadrasal asks what is his plan. Dhananand says he does not spare revolters and will kill kshatriyas and Chanakya at once; he sent his small batallion as guinea pig to trap khastriyas and kill them at once.

Mura guides khsatriyas and they attack Dhananand’s batallion. She realizes it is not Dhananand’s total army and sensing horses panicking jumps down and sees oil on floor. She alerts his team that there is oil all over floor, Dhananand has laid a trap on them. Chandragupta rushes on his horse towards battlefield. Dhananand shoots fire arrow towards Kshatriyas and says he will burn them all now. Bhadrasaal and Mahamartya smirk hearing his idea. Chanakya heading towards battlefield sees fire arrow and thihks why arrow is coming from south when Dhananand’s army is in north, realizes Dhanaannd has laid a trap for khatriyas. Fire arrow falls on floor and burns khatriyas. Pandu tells Keyvrath that he knew Dhanaannd would not let them die, let us join our army while khatriyas die here.

Chandragupta and Chanakya reach battlefield. Mura sees Chandragupta and asks him to go away and let them handle situation. Chandragupta says he cannot let them dying like that and will fight with them till his last breath and die with them if he is destined to. Chanakya gets emotional hearing that and says he did not listen to his mother for the sake of motherland, he is proud of him. He wraps his shawl around Chandragupta and asks him to enter fire place and try to pull out as much khsatriyas as he can.

Chanakya Niti: Spider web looks beautiful under sunlight, but it is very dangerous for its prey; similarly one should not be careless regarding enemy’s trap and be careful, they don’t know when enemy’s trap may fall on them.

Precap: Dhananand is shocked to see slave Chandragupta as his enemy. Chandragupta says he is Piplivan’s prince Chandragupta Maurya.
