Chandragupta steals Dhananand’s previous gift chariot and speeds away. Guards follow him. He tricks them and escapes. His friend stops another similar chariot nearby and hides. Guards think thief got afraid and escaped. Chandragupta returns to his friends and asks about Stulbhadra. Friends say he is caught by soldiers. Stulbadra tied in chariot with Chanakya is taken by soldiers. Chanakya asks Stul if he is not afraid. Stul says no as his friend will come and save him. Chandragupta jumps on chariot, kills charioteer and frees Stulbhadra. Stul asks him to save this man/Chanakya also. Chandragupta throws knife on chariot, asks Chanakya to free himself. Chanakya frees himself and picks Chandragupta’s bangle band from earth and realizes he is the one who stole Dhananand’s
Dhananand greets Alexander’s army general Selukus during his birthday celebrations and hopes their friendship lasts long. Selukus hopes they don’t have to face each other.
Chanakya returns to his hideout. His disciple asks who was the thief. Chanakya praises that he is fast like lion, powerful like wind, fluid like water, etc., he sees united Bharath’s future king in that boy. Bhairav asks why the boy keeps a lady’s bangle then. Chanakya says it must be his mother’s bangles for sure, only a warrior can keep his emotions on his chest.
Dhananand addresses that Selukus has come on auspicious day, his brothers have gifted his vast effigy and he will unravel it today. His brothers praise that the idol is made of gold and the biggest till now. He removes cloth over effigy. Everyone stand in shock and bend their head in tension. Dhananand sees human body and donkey head effigy. Sarvathasiddhi laughs and says someone made exact replica, body of human and head of donkey like Dhananand’s. Dhananand acts as laughing and says his brothers know he likes jokes. After returning to his palace, he asks Mahamartya how dare a thief is to steal Dhananand’s dhan/wealth, asks howmany youngters are there in Magadh. Mahamartya says 2 lakhs. Dhanaand asks howmany 15-16 year olds. Mahamartya says 25,000. Dhananand asks to kidnap and kill them all. Mahamartya asks why to punish everyone for one’s mistake. Dhananand says he will not spare anyone who steals his wealth..
