Dhananand sees broken piece of his crown and says this one broken piece shook his powerful and vast dynasty, there is one more broken piece on the other side and if it is found by enemies, his dynasty will shatter. Mahamartya says their army is more powerful now with more soldiers added and they will find Chandragupta soon. Dhananand orders to not only use army but all their resources and find Chandragupta and his khsatriya army soon. His brother says he has a foolproof plan and it will not fail, he will send sniffing dogs to catch Chandragupta and his army. Chandragupta and his army are in jungle when they hear dog sounds. Sthulbhadra says some dogs are coming towards them. Chanakya says these are Magadh’s famous sniffing dogs and they will identify enemy’s blood even 1 km

away and will cut their enemies into pieces. Chandragupta cuts his palm and runs in opposite direction. Dogs runs behind him. Chanakya gathers soldiers’ blood stained clothes. Mura asks what is he doing. Chanakya says he is trying to divert sniffing dogs’ attention and teach his inexperienced student a lesson. He runs behind Chandragupta and showing blood stained clothes to dogs throws them away. Dogs run behind clothes. He then scolds Chandragupta that he should not act so rashly without any plan and if something had happened to him, what about his and many other people’s dream of united Bharath, so he should act responsibly from hereon.

Dhanananand in place fumes after his sniffing dogs fail. Durdhara walks to him and apologizes for creating a trouble for him not understanding Chandragupta’s true motto, reminiscing all the incidents. Dhananand says she need not worry as because of her, he capture most powerful janpath/state Asaka.

At night, Chanakya with his team hiding in a cave tells Dhananand will send his dogs again to catch them. Sthulbhadra informs that Mahamartya is coming with dogs and army. They all run to hide themselves. A khatriya soldier says he has a plan to escape and light a fire torch runs in opposite direction. Mahamartya follows him and surrounding shouts betrayal. Soldier smiles and says he cannot catch them. Mahamartya shouts he will be punished and stabs him. Piplivan khsatriyas react seeing their friend being killed, but Chandragupta stops them and says they cannot let go waste brave warrior’s sacrifice and sometimes they have to back off to attack enemy with more powers. Chandragupta says they will have to find a place to hide.
