Chandragupta sits in wedding mantap nervously when Sthul taunts if he is not happy with this marriage, a king can have multiple marriages. Chandragupta scolds him. Durdhara walks in and sits next to Chandragupta looking at him eagerly. Mura asks if she is seeking something from Chandragupta before wedding. Chandragupta says he knows what she is expecting from him; he promises that there was no one before her in his life and there will be no one after her and he will always respect and protect her. Durdhara gets emotional. Chandragupta asks her not to start crying as he cannot see her tears. Durdhara thinks she is getting closer to Chandragupta but is going far away from her brother Dhananand.
Dhananand mourns hearing about Durdhara and Chandragupta’s wedding. Tarini tries to calm him down saying Tarini should have gone anyways one day. Dhananand says though he is cruel to the whole world, he always loved is sister and kept her happiness above all. He angrily pushes Tarini and asks her to go away as he does not need her favor. Tara walks out. Dashasiddika with Amartya’s help hits her head from behind and once she falls unconscious kidnaps her.
Chandragupta and Durdhara’s wedding completes and they take elders’ blessings. Durdhara requests Chanakya that he should not be leniant to Chandragupta and should give them a rigorous training to become a future united Bharath king. Chanakya agrees. A aide walks in and informs that Tara used to meet him daily at a specific time, but she did not today, so she is in danger. Chanakya and Chandragupta get tensed hearing that. After sometime, Chandragupta eats food and starts coughing blood. Chanakya says he mixed poison in his food.
