Chanakya asks Mura if she got any information. Mura says Jagatjala is also cruel like Dhananand and tortures his wife often. Chanakya says then she got a way to enter Jagatjala’s palace. Mura hopes their plan succeeds. Chandragupta carries Martand on his shoulders and runs. Martand says this is very tough route, he will be infested by leeches. Leeches infest Chandragupta and suck his blood. Chandragupta crosses first hurdle, and Martand picks first flag. He asks Chandragupta why is helping him risking his life. Chandragupta says he wants to see him win competition first. Slave informs Jagatjala that Martand has crossed 1st hurdle first. Martand asks his brother Durgam Dugu to bring his wife, else people will joke on him. Martand’s wife sadly looks at her face injury into

mirror. Mura disguised as slave informs that her husband is calling her. Lady says she cannot go out with a mark on her face. Mura gives her herbal paste which conceals her mark. Lady rejoices and asks who is she. Mura shows her face and says she is just a woman. Durgam Dugu enters and yells that brother is calling and they men don’t have time to watch woman’s beauty, so she can stop her makeup. He gets mesmerized with Mura’s beauty and asks who is she, she does not even have slave badge. Lady hands over bade silently to Mura and says she is her personal slave and takes Mura along.

Martand with Chandragupta reaches near next hurdle. Chandragupta asks him to cross dith holding rope. Martand says he cannot and will walk on ditch itself and gets trapped sandslide. Oppenents taunt Martand that he wants to become chief, but he is very incompetent. They cross ditch holding rope. Martand pleads Chandragupta to save him. Chandragupta throws rope and rescues him. They cross second hurdle and see a horse from chariot is missing. Martand gets tensed and asks how will he win now. In horse stable, a horse gets out of control. Chanakya gives Indra a herb and asks him to give 2 leaves to horse. Indra gives herb to stableman and asks him to give 2 leaves to horse. Horse calms down eating herb. Stableman is amused and hires Indra as his assistant giving him badge.

Chandragupta rides chariot and helps Martand win. Martand walks in holding 3 flags, and everyone chant his name. His mother happily announces her son won competition. Jagatjala is amused seeing that. After sometime, he confronts Martand to tell who helped him win as he knows about his incompetency. Martand says a slave helped him and introduces Chandragupta. Jagatjala says who is he, he is not from Paraspura. Chanakya disguised as barber tonsuring someone’s head says one’s competency should not be doubted but praised instead. Martand says all intelligent and brave people entered Paraspura at once. His brother informs him that Amartya Rakshas is coming with Dhananand’s orders. Amartya orders charioteer to speed up and reach Paraspura soon.
