Actress Charu Asopa recently got trolled after she shared a video of her cycling with her daughter Ziana. I n the video Charu can be seen cycling with her seven-month-old baby Ziana on her back, without any helmet. The actress was trolled for being a careless parent.
Now Charu has finally reacted to the trolling during her interview with BT. She shared, “I got a new cycle and was taking my first ride. I didn’t step out of my building. It was on the building premises where there is no traffic. As I sat on the cycle I saw my baby looking at me – I told the nanny to tie her carrier on my back. I wanted my first ride experience with my baby. And it was hardly for a minute. I am pretty concerned about the safety of my child and will never take it so casually.”
Though people have been trolling her fiercely, Charu doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with it. She said, “I realized how people are concerned about our safety and well-being. I felt good and I am touched.” Charu has been quite active on social media and loves to upload her daughter’s videos of enjoying different activities with her. “I love to involve Ziana in most of the activities I do. Be it swimming or traveling. She has been traveling with me since she was two-months-old. And trust me she enjoys all these activities.”
Talking about the pressure and advice from people on social media, Charu said, “Initially I found parenting tips on social media quite weird. Gradually I have learned to deal with them. Every mom has a different style of parenting and we cannot impose the same set of rules on everyone. Now I don’t pay heed to everything, but only listen to my instinct.”
