Abhianshu Vohra was last as Rana in the popular tv show Choti Sarrdaarni. Talking about the experience in a recent interview, he shares, “I got to play many shades in this character and I would really like to thank my producer, writers, channel, and creatives for giving me such opportunity. From a non-serious brother to a murderer then he falls in love and goes into a revenge phase. So there were so many shades I got to play through this role, from a comedy angle to a serious character to being a mama’s boy, a loving brother but on the other hand, he’s dangerous too like if his mother commanded him to kill someone he would do that too.”
Talking about the leap and how much he misses the show, he says “I think the leap this show took was important to move the story ahead so it happened because the show must go on. I miss everyone from the set, especially my co-actors and also the crew. We all had become like a family. I never used to feel that we were from different backgrounds or different places, I really miss them, and a lot of times when I’m just sitting I feel a part of my heart has been taken away from me but this is life and this is how it goes on.”
When asked about the type of roles he would like to do now, he shares, “I want to focus on string characters like Rana that I did in the show. But yes, every character that I do should be varied from the previous one so that I can grow as an actor. I have auditioned for some roles. So let’s see how it goes ahead.”
We wish Abhianshu good luck for all his future endeavors.
