The last two years have been very tough for Amal Sehrawat. The actor lost his father to COVID-19 in June 2020 and his mother tested positive twice around that time. Amal decided to spend his time with his family in Delhi and had to shuttle between Jaipur Mumbai for the shoot of Choti Sarrdaarni for almost six months till his track wound up in February last year.
The actor has now moved back to Mumbai and is all set for his upcoming project produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar.
During a recent interview with BT, Amal talked about it and shared, “After my track wrapped up in Choti Sarrdaarni, I couldn’t pay attention to my acting career, as I got involved in my responsibilities towards my family after my dad passed away. His sudden demise shattered my mother and I decided to be by her side during that time. Also, I had to sort out the finances and decide on how to move forward in my life. I even contemplated relocating to Delhi, as I didn’t want to stay away from my mother. It took a while for me to convince her to move to Mumbai with me.”
He added, “I am glad that my mother likes it here. I along with my wife, son and mother finally feel settled in Mumbai.”
During his year-long stay in Delhi, he also looked after his father’s crockery business for a while along with his brother but soon realized that it wasn’t his cup of tea.”
Talking about the offer from the makers of Choti Sarrdaarni he shared, “I happily accepted their offer. They know my behavior, temperament, and talent, so I don’t have to re-establish myself. It’s good to be reuniting with the team. The show is a love story of a Haryanvi boy and a South Indian girl.”
