Choti Sarrdaarni fame Mahir Pandhi roped in for Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s upcoming show ‘Vanshaj’
Mahir Pandhi, who became a household name with his role as Rajveer Singh Babbar in Choti Sarrdaarni, has been finalized to essay the male lead in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s upcoming show titled Vanshaj. The makers have also roped in Anjali Tatrari, who was last seen in Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na to play the female protagonist.
According to the reports, Vanshaj is a family drama with the dynamics of a business family. The show revolves around a big-shot business family with a big empire. Anjali will be essaying the role of Yuvika in the show who is from a small town with simple aspirations. Given certain circumstances, she finds herself in a situation where she ends up challenging patriarchy.
Anjali confirmed the news in a recent interview and shared, “Yes, I am a part of the show. What’s interesting about my character is that she is a strong woman, who single-handedly tries to take over everything. It’s multi-layered and different from all the characters I have played so far.”
