Ganga gets angry on Abhi and says if Kundlis don’t match then something wrong will happen. She says I have doubted on Meera and her father, oblivious to the fact that my son is wrong. Dadiya asks her to calm down. Ganga says this doesn’t happen in our family and asks if we are orthodox and says he has cut our nose. Dadiya asks Ganga to stop it and says I am still alive to take a decision. She says I know that he has done mistake, but he is in love with Meera, love don’t see kundlis and we shall bless them. She says I have decided to get him married to Meera. Abhi smiles. He calls her. Meera says today’s drama was enough.

Meera tells that she is a modern day and don’t believe on orthodox things and says they shall end it right here. He meets her and apologizes to her holding his ears.

Meera says it’s ok. Abhi says I shall have told you, and says whatever we will do, we will do together. He says his Dadi is modern. Meera says we shall be on same page. He asks if everything is in control. Meera says everyone is excited as they are spending money on the expenses. Abhi asks her not to worry and says he has liked the early date. She asks him to make sure that both families don’t spend much.

Abhi comes home and asks what they are doing. Gopal chacha tells that they are checking the marriage hall. Ganga tells that there will be 3000-4000 guests. Abhi is shocked. They make a big list of expenses. Rishtewali Bua tells Dadi that her husband told that he will gift me chain on Abhi’s marriage. Dadi says Abhi will give. Abhi says he wants a simple wedding. Ganga says chain is ready. Ankita says she called her college choreographer. Ganga says they shall have a dance competition and Meera’s family can dance also. Ankita says he shall dance with Meera. Abhi says no. Dadi asks him to go to Saloon and relax. Abhi looks on.

Meera’s dad talks to someone and asks when you are coming. Tai ji comes. Meera gets happy seeing her. She asks what is happening here. Dad says marriage is happening in our house and says he thought to get mattress for home. Meera asks why this is needed. He asks her to close her eyes. Meera closes her eyes. They show her jewellery. Meera gets happy and smiles. Her dad says it is of your mom. Meera gets emotional. Her dad says this is of your dadi and nani. He tells that he couldn’t do much for her. He has some money of VRS and this jewellery is of 10 Lakhs rs. Meera says she can’t accept dowry or jewellery. She says why you are wasting money for 1 day marriage. Chachi says 1 day marriage. Meera says I mean 1 day event and says it doesn’t make sense to waste money. She says she will not accept. Her dad says he is her dad and will decide else this marriage will not happen. Meera gets tensed.

Cuckoo is lecturing the employees. Abhi comes and says sorry for coming late. Cuckoo says you don’t need to come to office till marriage. Abhi asks how you will work without me. His colleague says we will handle. Arjun seems upset.. Abhi asks if everything is fine. He nods yes. Cuckoo asks him to go. He goes.

Ila Chachi comes to Meera. Meera says Dad’s childish attitude made everyone upset. Ila Chachi asks her to understand him. Meera says I understand him and that’s why agreed for marriage. She says this drama. Ila Chachi says since your mum died, he didn’t think about himself, and thought about you and your marriage only. Meera says why this waste expenses. Chachi asks her to talk to Dad. Meera says ok. She gets Abhi’s call and comes to know that his family are coming to her house in evening. Chachi hears her and says we have so much work.

Avasthi family come to Meera’s house. Ganga says we have just 2000 guests. Meera’s dad says they want a simple wedding, but have nothing to give. Dadiya asks him to give just Meera. Ganga says you can give whatever you wants, but we have no demand. Meera and Abhi exchange messages. Meera’s dad says I will give 10 Lakhs worth jewellery. Govind asks him not to tell the price. Ila says we will do the marriage just as you wants. Ganga says we all will do. Abhi and Meera get up and asks them to stop. He says we wants a simple wedding. Meera says register marriage. Abhi says nobody have to bear the expenses. Everyone is silent.
