(Anchal’s POV)
I was sitting at my home, lying on my sofa while so many thoughts rushed through my head regarding the crime. Had Ranvir actually committed the crime or was it someone else? But why would Meenu lie? and more importantly, Naina can’t lie either.
I shouted aloud in frustration as my mom came to me with a worried expression on her face.
“Anchal, are you okay?” She asked, as she sat beside me.
“This case, Maa, should be the end of me. There is so much proof against Ranvir Raichand, but then he says he is innocent. When I try to find the truth in his eyes..”
I stop midway as a secret thought creeps into my mind.
I get lost in his eyes.
My mum looks at me expectantly as if she wanted me to complete my sentence. I hurriedly look at her.
“When I try to find truth in his eyes, I can’t find any.”
My Mum smiles as she kisses me on my cheek. “Everything is fine, Anchal. You are fighting for the right thing, like always. Don’t you back down. Fight Ranvir Raichand and show him the power of law.
I smile back at her and I’m just about to hug her when my phone rings. It’s Naina.
I pick it up.” Hey neens, is there any problem?”
“Yeah Anchal. Actually, Rohan has to go for an job interview so I want to be there for him. Could u please take care of Meenu for me, if u r not busy?”
“Of course, peeps! Don’t worry at all. I’ll be there in a moment.” I hang up the phone as my mom looks at me and smiles.
“Gotta go?”
“Yup, Maa!”

As I make my way through the hospital and onto the floor Meenu’s on, I felt something was suspicious. Maybe it was my lawyer senses but as I reached her room and saw her sleeping peacefully, my eyes shone happily.
“Justice is yours, Meenu. Don’t you worry. I won’t let the Raichands escape because of their power.” I whisper in her ear, as I hear a crashing sound not far away.
My eyes narrow as I make my way through the hallway to see a collapsed medical kit. My throat contracts to see a shadow move past me and into Meenu’s room. I could clearly see the injection in the shadow as I grab the thing by its’ collar before it reaches Meenu’s room. I remove the hood to see Kabir Raichand.
I slap him, my sharp nails scratching his cheek as he screams. The police guards who were sleeping now woke up to catch Kabir by both hands.
“Your brother went to jail a few days ago. I f u want to join him, Mr. Kabir, I’ll gladly send you there. If your plan was to hurt Meenu, drop it right now. But you know, I should be thanking you because I can prove through this case that you all r a family of psychopaths.”
He sneered. “You actually think u r going to win? No one can win against Bade, Ms. Anchal. He’s way too strong for you.”
My eyes shone with fury. “Well, I sent him to jail. It’s just the matter of the case in the court now, which I will definitely win, Kabir. Because u and your family played wrong with this case.”
My eyes turned to the guards. “Please drop Mr. Kabir to his car. He may lose his way again and reurn here so..”
They take him away as I look on angrily.

(Anchal’s POV finished. General POV)
It’s a dark night as a car stops in front of an old, dilapidated shed. A woman dressed up elegantly, which is Sarika Raichand,is shown to be walking towards it. As she steps inside, she smells the foul odor of metallic blood as she covers her nose with her hands to stop herself from puking. She spots the silhouette of a figure, standing against a wooden frame and she walks up to it.
“After so many years, Mrs. Raichand. What a pleasure.”
“You r also a Raichand, Gaurav. You don’t need to be so formal. You r my nephew.”
“I was, Mrs. Raichand. Remember, I broke all ties with your prestigious family? Anyways, why have you come here?”
He switched on a dim light that sparkled a bit in Sarika’s golden blue eyes as she looked at her nephew.
“Ranvir is in jail and he will get out of jail tomorrow. But after that you have to kill this lawyer. Name is Anchal Srivastav and here is the photo with the money.”
Gaurav, as the figure is known, takes the money and the picture of Anchal as he glances at her.
“Oh, she’s a pretty face. Looks decent as well. It will be a shame to kill such a lovely one.”
“Just do what you r told, Gaurav. Then after that, don’t call me for a few days and..”
“and stay out of sight? I know it all, Maasi ji.”
Sarika retreats as Gaurav continues to do his work. A slight emotion of guilt passes through her as she moves out of the hut and into her car with a happy thought.
That Anchal would die very soon for defaming them and imprisoning her son.
