Coming to the intro, here are the main characters and as the story proceeds new ones would be added.

SWARA BOSE
A bubbly, chirpy, naughty, cute, innocent girl. She is full of life
20 years old.
Doesn’t like too girly stuff like make up and shopping for hours together (Haha jus lyk me)
Dikhne me choti hai but eats too much
Always fights with sun early in the morning bcoz it disturbs her sleep.
Sleep and food are her major priority (again lyk me hehe)
Studying her B.E
Rich but not too rich (hehe)
A big Drama Queen. Her bestie is Akki
Lives with her mom.
Doesn’t like her father becoz he left her for her step mom. He met her when she was just 2.
Has a bad experience with her ex-bf in college so, ambiguous about love kind of stuff.
And not-at-all abala nari type. Hehe
JANKI BOSE
Swara’s mom. A single mother. Kind hearted.
Her daughter is her world.
Has her own business.
Heart-broken because of her husband but understands his majboori and wants her daughter to meet him.
She doesn’t want to deprive him of his daughter.
Swara also never asked the reason for their separation bcoz she knows her mother is broken and doesn’t want to hurt her by asking the reason.
Janki never told her daughter the exact reason bcoz she feels swara is still a kid by heart and will not be able understand. So she is waiting for the ryt time.
She just tells swara that her father is good and she should not hate him or shomi.
SHEKHAR ROY
Swara’s dad and ex-husband of Janki.
A rich business man.
Married to sharmistha bcoz of a strong reason (not any dadi pressure) has a son named Manik
Loves both his children Swara and Manik.
Lives in Calfornia.
SHARMISHTA ROY
Mother of Manik and shekar’s wife.
Even she loves both swara and manik, though she never met Swara.
Shekar married shomi and left janki when she was only 2months pregnant with swara.
So he met swara only once when she was 2.
Janki and Shomi doesn’t have any grudges against each other (friendly sautans u know hehe 😉 )
MANIK ROY (Parth Samthaan)
20 years old ( he is only few months younger to swara)
Step bro of Swara.
Though he loves his mother a lot, doesn’t go well with shekhar bcoz his father couldn’t give fatherly love to Swara whom he treats as his sister wants to meet her and apologise her bcuz he thinks he is the reason swara was deprived of father’s love (very kind hearted u know cant see injustice happening with any one)
He told shekhar he would talk to him properly only when swara forgives and accepts him(shekhar).

A Happy- go lucky guy but also reserved and matured at times.

Sanskar’s younger bro.
