Dabangii Reunion: Manav Gohil and Sai Deodhar, Saara Akaash Co-Stars, Create Magic Two Decades Later
In a nostalgic reunion, Saara Akaash co-stars Manav Gohil and Sai Deodhar are set to grace the small screen once again, this time in the upcoming show Dabangii. Their camaraderie, dating back to the popular 2003 show Saara Akaash, remains strong, marking a bond that has withstood over two decades.
Manav Gohil shared a heartfelt post on social media, capturing a moment from the sets of Dabangii – Mulgii Aayi Re Aayi. Expressing his joy, he wrote, “Now that’s a bond of over two decades in a frame. Shooting late into the night, we got time to catch up… and darn, she has a memory of an elephant.” Manav reminisced about old memories, from his first bike to past crushes, as Sai Deodhar, with an uncanny memory, brought them to life. He praised Sai and expressed his excitement for future collaborations.
In Dabangii, Manav Gohil takes on the role of police officer Ankush, while Sai Deodhar portrays the pivotal character of Chhaya, a protective mother striving to shield her daughter Arya from her father Satya, portrayed by Aamir Dalvi. Aamir plays the role of Don Satya, on a quest to find his daughter and seek revenge against the woman who separated them.
Reflecting on Manav and Sai’s camaraderie, their previous stint together in the immensely popular Saara Akaash between 2003 and 2005 comes to the forefront. This reunion also marks Sai Deodhar’s return to television after a five-year hiatus, during which she explored scriptwriting, producing, and directing.
