Daisy Shah in talks to portray the lead in Naagin Season 7
After her upcoming stint in the 13th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, Daisy Shah is reportedly eyeing an extended stay in the television industry. It is rumored that the actress is in talks to play the lead role in the seventh season of Naagin. Yes, you heard it right! Daisy is likely to take on the role of a naagin in the forthcoming edition of this supernatural thriller franchise.
A source associated with the show revealed, “Yes, we are in discussions with Daisy and anticipate finalizing the deal soon. Both the makers and the actress are enthusiastic about collaborating on this project. The process of finalizing the rest of the cast is currently underway.”
Earlier in an interview, Daisy shared her thoughts on her decision to venture into the television realm. The Jai Ho actress stated, “I don’t feel the need to explain my choice of participating in a reality show to anyone. I wanted to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi because it allows me to challenge myself and acquire new skills in the process. Additionally, it provides me with a broader audience to connect with. Most importantly, the experience will help me prepare for a project I will be starting by the end of this year.”
When asked about her willingness to work on a fiction show on television, Daisy responded, “I am not inclined towards the saas-bahu type of drama at all. It’s not my cup of tea; I prefer to stay away from such dramatic narratives.”
