Chapter 2:
Recap: Vansh angry at Riddhima and she bought dadi in her room.
“wahh Riddhima you have good collection of sarees” dadi complimented. “thanks dadi” she said. “okay i should go now” dadi got up to leave. Riddhima look at vansh who was giving a cunning smile of his own. Dadi exit the door and Riddhima ran to washroom shutting the door behind.
“you can’t run from me” vansh yelled at her back. “but what i did i am innocent ” she shouted from inside. “first come out then i will tell you” vansh said. “okay but first promise that you will not say anything to me” she requested. “are you a school going kid to do all this just come out damm it” vansh bagged at the door. Riddhima got scared and came out. She nervously smile and blink her eyes several times. But her cute gestures couldn’t melt vansh. He held her wrist and dragged her to the dressing table. “where is my things, my perfumes, hairdryer etc” he asked pointing at the table which is all covered with Riddhima’s stuff. “ohh is this the matter” she signed in relief and opened the last messy drawer and took out his stuff. “i kept them at the bottom as they are not that important and i have my things to keep up here” Riddhima explained. “and who are you to deal with my stuff” vansh asked angrily. “your wife vansh did you forgot we got married yesterday” she pretended to be in shock. “stop your drama and the matter is you have tried to bring changes in Vansh Rai Singhania’s life which is not acceptable ” he said angrily. “so what? why are you overreacting…” before Riddhima could have finished, her back hit the nearest wall and her delicate wrists were held by vansh’s hard hands. “enough of your tantrums, i am not going to tolerate all this” vansh said staring deep in her almost wet eyes. “it’s hurting” Riddhima whispers. “i don’t care and get one thing in your head that don’t you dare to mess with vansh otherwise you will see the worst of me” he warned her. “but what i did?” Riddhima wonders she is still not getting what’s her mistake. “you are interfering in my life. i don’t want you around, just get the hell out of my life” vansh shouted. She is affecting him with her presence and he can’t bear it. “leave me” Riddhima pushed him and ran out of the room. Vansh felt his hand wet and realized it was Riddhima’s tears. “damm it” he punches the wall. “let her go where ever she wants to go” he mumble and went to the washroom.
After sometimes, aryan came to riansh’s room “bhai dadi is calling you” he said breathing heavily. “Why? is Riddhima with dadi?” he asked. He is thinking probably she is the reason behind this. “okay i will come” he said and both left to dadi’s room.
Aryan and vansh enter in dadi’s room and saw Riddhima sitting on the bed along with dadi. Vansh give her a look and said “dadi you called me” “yeah you are in trouble” aryan giggle and said before dadi said anything. “why you shouted at Riddhima. She is new in this house and you have to make her feel comfortable” dadi explained. “yes dadi even he said me to get lost” Riddhima complained like a child. Vansh give her a glare but she is not scared of him. “say sorry vansh she is your wife. you both have to adjust with each other ” dadi further said. “i am sorry dadi” vansh apologized. “not to me but to Riddhima” dadi objected. “sorry Riddhima ” vansh arrogantly said. “come on Riddhima everything is fine among you guys you can go to your room and tell me again if he said something ” dadi said politely. “sure dadi” Riddhima said looking at vansh. “show is over you can go” vansh taunted aryan who was standing and enjoying the drama till now. Everyone left to their rooms.
“Vanshh” Riddhima shouted sitting next to him on bed while he was using his laptop. “now what?” he was already irritated. “see what you did now you should apply bandage” she showed him her wrist which got bruises when he held them. He opened the drawer and took out the first aid box and started applying medicine. “ahhh it’s hurting” Riddhima winced in pain. “shhh! it will be fine” vansh placed his other hand’s first finger on her lips. As soon as her lips touch his finger, she felt shiver in her spine. She was staring him without even blinking her eyes while the whole time he was bandaging her hand. “i am sorry” this time vansh genuinely apologized as he didn’t mean to hurt her. “it’s okay” she whisper still lost in his touch.
After a while, vansh was sleeping while Riddhima’s phone rings. She picked the call as it was from her best friend sejal. She got excited and went to the window to talk to her. She was talking and explaining sejal about her new life which disturbed vansh. “Riddhima slowly” he said. “yeah” she said but didn’t work on it. Vansh waited for few minutes and then got up approaching Riddhima. He took phone from her hand and said “hey! she will call you tomorrow” he said and cut the call. Then he picked Riddhima in his arms and went to bed. “vansh leave me…” Riddhima was speaking but he was deaf to her words. “keep quite and sleep” he said and covered her with blanket after making her lie on the bed. “but…” she was about to say when he yelled “right now” Riddhima was silent because of his Dangerous look. When he went to his side, she sat on the bed and shouted “you can’t torture me Mr Vansh Rai Singhania, i will tell dadi..” vansh cut her words “don’t you dare to blackmail me with dadi’s name” he warned her and turn on the other side showing her his back. She fumed seeing his ignorance. Riddhima went close to him and whisper in his ear “you are very bad” she instantly came back on her side and covered herself with blanket from top to bottom fearing his reaction. Vansh unknowingly smiles seeing her antics. Soon both were drifted to deep sleep.
Next Morning,
Vansh already left for office while Riddhima and aryan are sitting in the garden. “Ridhu please can’t you do this much for me” aryan was pleading for something. “no i can’t give you sejal’s number without her permission” Riddhima rejected his request. “but i really like her please yaarr” aryan again said. “no means no” Riddhima was determined on her decision. “if you will not give her number then i will tell bhai your secret” aryan blackmailed her. “never!! don’t you dare to tell anything to vansh” Riddhima warned him feeling nervous. “then number?” aryan give a fake smile. “i will text you” Riddhima said. “that’s like my Ridhu” aryan pulled her cheeks. “But if bhai gets to know your secret he will understand it” aryan explained. “no please i will tell him when right time comes and no more discussion on this topic” Riddhima seriously said and went from there.
