PROFESSOR SIDDIQUI
“You what?” Asked Raj through his fits of laughter. All were laughing like hyenas after knowing about morning chaos. I was so done with them, should I make a new friends? Oh hell yes. Raj, Gurmeet, Disha, Ramya and I were group of five. We were very close knitted. Raj and Disha were from Delhi, Gurmeet was from Haryana, and Ramya and I were from Ajmer. We hit it off at the first year itself. The diversity yet so much of similarities made us a instant friends. Ramya and I had applied to many different management schools, but this one clicked. Manali is one of a kind. I needed to explore things. It was only two year course and this college provided everything we needed and don’t forget, it was one of the top colleges. “God! You are so— whipped. You just fainted only watching him. Someone please help this lady” his breath was heaving from all the laughter.
“Shut the f**k up!” Ramya lashed out. Not even she was knowing about that night, I like to keep it that way—one—I am scared shitless, two—I don’t want to be a laughing stock. But she was knowing something was off, so she didn’t press on that much, she was scared enough to listen to my horrid night experience. “But he is cool, I had talked to him” we all stared at Gurmeet confusedly. When the hell did he talk? Oh he might be in one his sports club. He was a sporty person, he did participate in Inter-college football matches and played squash very well too, we always rooted for him. “And hot too!” Disha yodelled. Do you know who thinks every guy hot? That’s right it’s Ms. Disha Agarwal. “Yeah even I did too, let us invite him over lunch” suggested Raj. Since the first year we didn’t allow others to be a part of us, and it was mainly Raj. He would always state that they would break us off. Now look who’s speaking. I looked at him with disbelief, whereas everyone nodded.
Great… My last year is just great.

“So, where you hail from?” Asked Ramya curiously. Since we all resided in dorms, we would do casual lunches outside the campus, moreover our taste buds would crave something else other than sour mess food. And like planned they invited the leprechaun over. Yes! I like to call him leprechaun, I don’t even know what kind he is. “Pune” he replied. All of his answers were plain monosyllables. Entire time I hung my head, but could sense his eyes burning hole at the side of my head, he was staring at me pretty much intensly. He was so intimidating, his thick eyebrows were furrowed as if he was concentrating on something, his brown eyes—
wait did he replace with lens? Maybe. Anyways those fake brown eyes shone, and his pale face. The hell? Why he is so pale, isn’t he Indian? God spare me from this all. Before I could interpret him further, we heard a loud cry. I whipped my head to notice Gurmeet and Disha hustling towards us. “Guys” Gurmeet let out. “What happened? Everything alright?” Raj asked worriedly. “Pro… Professor… Siddiqui…” Disha was choking. Why the hell these both are crying? “What happened to Professor?”. Disha was hugging Ramya as if her life was dependent on it, and Ramya was rubbing her back trying to pacify the crying girl. “Come with us”.

The head was ripped off the body, blood pooling around. Police were investigating the spot, and we stood here behind the yellow tape that forbids us to move near the body. I felt so sick to my stomach. God! Last incident was more than enough. All were either crying or grimacing at the scene. Professor Siddiqui was grumpy yet good man. He wouldn’t tolerate irresponsibility, but nonetheless everyone adored him at one point of time. He was a average built, his belly slightly bulged he had a round and fair face. I felt so sorry for him. His wife was moaning, hugging her two small children. Poor them, how will they wake up without their father.
If this was me, no I can’t even imagine. The whistling of the wind grew louder making me cling to my thick coat tightly. I was going to throw up if I stay here one more second, so I turned back. When I did, I noticed the leprechaun. He stood there nonchalantly, as if the brutal scene didn’t made him cringe. Doesn’t he have any emotion, why should he? He is a f**king monster. He tore his eyes off the body and glanced at me, he smirked. He f**king smirked. Did he kill the professor? Wait it was days ago that I witnessed him in the woods, then why was body found now, and with fresh blood pooling around. And Professor was missing since the incident.
So many questions remained unanswered.

It is scary…. I think omkara not killed the professor…. May be some another one
U bet, it gets scary further but let’s hope our heroine doesn’t get into any trouble eh?? Thank u ????
Wow this is awesome…..my guess is that Om is a vampire….is he? I m anyways in love with the vampires (until they remain in book or on screen??)….So eagerly awaiting the next part….
Yea he is a vampire,…. And will post soon thanks???
wow, are we at killings with the second part itself. i think it’s not omkara, but another villains. also, the way you describe omkara’s features makes me want to pull him out of this ff and put him next to my bed and stare at him with golf-sized eyes and… there;s more, but i should stop here! 😀 anyways, kidding aside, i think it’s interesting how his name goes completely opposite our soft-hearted heroine. this story gives me the pyaar ki yeh ek kahani feels, the only difference being how much better this is!! 🙂 post next soon 🙂
First off thanks for the overwhelming comment and you all are so hell bent to make om innocent?????? and will post soon????
human tendency dope! as for me, i think it’ll be nice if there’s a twist and om actually turns out to be the bad guy. but seeing as how his eyes weren’t red then and the body found was not days old, i think it’s not him. it would be cool if his brothers are there or someone like that who killed the professor, and om would just be protecting them by taking the fall… or maybe i should stop reading crime thrillers with handsome heroes 😀 😀
And do u have ishaana’s permission for ur fantasy adventures with om????
sprb update pls update the next one soon
Thank you ?
Superb update..
Thank you ?
