Debina Bonnerjee, known for connecting intimately with her fans through vlogs, recently shared a heartfelt update on her father’s health struggles. The actress, who regularly keeps her audience informed about her life and family, revealed her father’s hospitalization due to pneumonia and high blood sugar.
Expressing her concern, Debina shared, “A few days before Papa and Mummy planned to travel to Nainital, Papa developed a fever. We promptly sought medical attention, and tests, including a chest x-ray, indicated congestion due to pneumonia. Further blood tests revealed his sugar levels were at 450. Considering the pneumonia’s resemblance to symptoms seen during Covid-19, we conducted a test, thankfully returning negative.”
Amidst this challenging time, Debina took it upon herself to care for her family, preparing healthy millet khichdi for her parents and tending to her little girls at the hospital. Despite the circumstances, she ensured her daughters enjoyed playtime, managed her yoga sessions, and fulfilled household responsibilities. Her vlog showcased snippets of her father in the hospital and highlighted her mother’s unwavering support, diligently caring for him.
Earlier, Debina had shared updates about her mother-in-law’s surgery, shedding light on the family’s health struggles. Recounting the experience, she shared, “Given my father-in-law’s affiliation with the Army, we sought treatment at the Army and Navy hospitals. The remarkable infrastructure and cleanliness at the Army Hospital in Colaba were commendable. Auntie underwent surgery for a leg tumor, and thankfully, she is recovering well.”
