Day by day Abhi’s feelings towards Pragya was getting stronger as she was becoming like a role model to him in how she manages her work life and as well as her bonding with family. He knows that he is working to follow her but until now they didn’t have a proper conversation that is with just the two of them.
It was the annual research meeting. All the scientists in the country would be meeting together to share about their research ideas and findings. Abhi had the entry to the meeting through his boss, as he wanted Abhi to follow Pragya over there as well.
Pragya got ready to go to the conference. She was quite nervous and scared. “ don’t worry everything will be alright,” said someone sitting on the bed.
Abhi on the other hand was already at the venue. He was roaming around trying to hack into the CTos servers. Once he was in, he worked his way through the camera of the conference hall.
“ really you got me in as security,” Abhi said on the phone.
“ well you aren’t a scientist that they would welcome you in the room I completed my job getting you in, now do your job,” said the CEO and cut the call.
On her way Pragya decided to meet up with bulbul. She dialled her number.
“ hey bubbie can we meet,” she said.
“ sure chubby bunny,” said bulbul.
“ ok I’ll meet you at your house,” said pragya and ended the call.
At bulbul’s house
“ what if something goes wrong bubbie,” said Pragya while biting her nails.
“ calm down Pragya everything will go smoothly,” said bulbul by keeping her hands on pragya’s shoulder.
“ you can do it, you are the best, now go give the best presentation at the conference,” said bulbul.
Pragya nodded her head, hugged bulbul and left.
Upon reaching the venue, she was feeling jittery. Will she be able to do it? There are so many seniors over there who would give their best, how was she going to stand out from them?
She was asking herself with a lot of questions by looking very nervous. She looked at herself one more time and left for the conference room.
Abhi in the security attire was roaming around with his phone when his eyes fell on pragya. Her body language told that she was quite scared. Abhi stood there and she just walked past him. “ strange she didn’t even notice me,” he said. That’s one one of the senior security told him to get inside.
Pragya just wanted to finish this and run away! She don’t have the courage even to face everyone after her presentation. “Why couldn’t she be ready to do this damn me,” she said and took her seat on the table.
Abhi walked inside and stood beside the door. He checked his phone which was connected with the camera in front of Pragya and the projector for clear view for pragya’s presentation.
Pragya was about to present an she already had passed her pen drive to the person who was handling the computers for presentation.
She got a shock when there was cartoon images was opened in the slides instead of the presentation slides that she had prepared about her research findings.
Everyone seeing that laughed and giggled. Some commented that this young scientists always do like this to waste their time.
One of senior scientist “ Ms Pragya! Is this the way you had prepared?” Pragya “ No sir…I don’t know what happened….” She said with a shaky voice.
“ Do u have backup files?” He asked but she shook her head as no.
“ Why are u calling yourself as a scientist? No actually we shouldn’t even give u the entry to here! This is such a disgrace and waste of time to busy people like us!!!”
Abhi “ May I know what makes these busy people to have the time to laugh?”
“ who’s that? Come here and speak!” He said as Abhi came in front near to the stage.
“ Well, I am not a scientist like u all, but how can u say that she wasted all your time! Might be some malfunction,” Abhi asked looking at him.
“ can’t u see how she is looking! For god’s sake she doesn’t even look like here to present!!” He said in annoyance.
“ for god sake even Albert Einstein wasn’t presentable to people, have some humanity , Although she looks lost, but she has been looking apologetic about that. Can’t u see that in her eyes!” He said making Pragya look at him.
He then told Pragya to leave this meeting and himself stormed out of the room.
He was quite furious and quickly dialled a number. “ you told me to hack into the servers and install this, i did but how could you destroy her career. You told me it’s just some boot up but it was to replace her files,” he said.
“Well you are working for me do what I say or else many things might occur if not you then some one else can do the job,” said the CEO.
Abhi who didn’t want anyone else behind her “ next time if you do this I shall tell her everything myself,” he said and cut the call.
Following him, Pragya too left from there wiping her tears but was still affected by the mishap that happened.
She went out of the place and looked around for Abhi but he was nowhere to be found until she heard argumenting sounds.
Pragya looked at the direction and saw Abhi fighting with a driver by pulling his collar.
She rushed to him and tried to calm him by asking the driver to leave and he looked at her with a frustrated look.
He never said anything and walked away to sit on top of his car.
She followed him and asked “ Why are you so emotional?”
“ Nothing!” He replied vaguely.
“ Nothing?” She asked doubtfully.
“ I am not in my mood! I feel like shouting!” He said in frustration.
Pragya was about to say something when he said “ I felt like crying when you cried just now!”
“ I don’t like them scolding you,” he said.
Pragya leaning against his car, smiled at him. Abhi too smiled back at her.
