Deepika Singh Injured on Set of Mangal Lakshmi: Details of the On-Set Accident

Deepika Singh, the lead actress in the popular daily soap Mangal Lakshmi, has been captivating audiences since the show began airing a few months ago. Recently, news has surfaced about the actress sustaining an injury while shooting for the show.

Reports indicate that Deepika injured her upper back during an incident that occurred on June 19. According to Etimes, the accident happened while filming a dream sequence where her character was being congratulated. During the shoot, a large and heavy plywood sheet fell on Deepika due to strong winds, causing significant injury to her back.

Known for her role in Diya Aur Baati Hum, Deepika screamed in pain following the accident. Naman, a co-worker, rushed to assist her on set. Despite the intense pain and swelling in her back, Deepika attempted to continue filming for Mangal Lakshmi. However, the pain eventually forced her to stop shooting the crucial segment.

For immediate relief, the crew obtained an ice pack from a nearby kids’ dance show set. Though Deepika managed to shoot some scenes, she eventually had to leave the set due to the unbearable pain.

This isn’t the first time Deepika Singh has suffered an injury on set. Just a few days prior, she injured her eyes, resulting in a blood clot. Despite these challenging conditions, Deepika displayed remarkable dedication by continuing to film important sequences.
