The Episode starts with Mannat waking up from her dream and praying to Bholenath to protect Dev. She notices that Dev is missing from their room. Meanwhile, Dev learns from the forest department that the crocodile found in the river is a species usually found in the Andaman Nicobar Islands. The officer mentions that the crocodile might have been brought into their state illegally, but when Dev tries to ask more, the officer disconnects the call. Mannat sees Dev talking on the phone and questions him, noticing his strange behavior. She insists on knowing if something is wrong or if he’s hiding something. Dev denies it and tries to change the topic, but Mannat becomes suspicious and demands the truth. Upset, she storms back to the room. Dev follows her, but Mannat refuses to talk to him, angry and hurt.
The next morning, Mannat brings tea for Dev, but she remains upset. Dev tries to convince her that he isn’t hiding anything, but Mannat refuses to listen. She accuses him of avoiding her and reminds him of how much it hurts her when he hides things. She even mentions how he once unlocked her phone without asking, and now he’s the one keeping secrets. Frustrated, she tells Dev he’s becoming like other husbands who lie. Hearing her refer to him as “husband” makes Dev happy for a moment, and he promises to tell her the truth.
Dev reveals that he has been investigating Jeet’s death and that it wasn’t an accident—it was murder. Mannat is shocked by the revelation. Dev explains that someone deliberately planned Jeet’s death. He reminds her about the bomb particles found on the bike used in the haldi ceremony. He shares how, on the night before the marriage, he and Jeet were diverted to another route and ended up falling into the river where the crocodile was found. Dev further reveals that the crocodile was brought into Haryana illegally, suggesting a larger conspiracy.
Dev tells Mannat he is determined to find out who killed Jeet and vows not to let the culprit escape. Mannat insists that she has a right to know everything and that they should face this together. She reminds Dev that they both have suffered because of Jeet’s loss and resolves to help him. They pray to Bholenath for strength and promise Jeet, in front of his picture, that they will find and punish the person responsible for his death. Mannat emotionally tells Jeet that Sakshi aunty is still grieving his loss, and she won’t forgive the killer. Dev promises to protect Mannat and ensure justice for Jeet.
As they piece together the puzzle, Dev points out that one person couldn’t have orchestrated the crime alone—bringing a crocodile without proper documentation would require connections. He decides to seek Satpal’s help to uncover the truth. Mannat and Dev hold hands and take their first steps together toward solving the mystery.
