Recap: Dev gifts Sonakshi a beautiful bracelet.
The same night, Sonakshi is sitting on her bed, looking admiringly at the bracelet.
Sonakshi’s POV:
When he took my hand, and made me wear the bracelet, I felt so good. In fact, whenever he as much as touches me, I feel like I am in seventh heaven. I’ve never had this feeling before. What is this? Am I in-in love with him? (blushes and smiles)

At the same time, Dev is sitting at his desk, the same thoughts flowing through his mind.
Dev’s POV:
Whenever I see her, I get lost in her… In her beautiful eyes, locks of hair… I can’t think of anything other than her. I go mad whenever she comes near me. What kind of a feeling is this? Why do I feel this way? Am I in lo- love with her? (smiles reminscing his moments with Sonakshi)

Sonakshi lies down on her bed, thinking about Dev. She thinks how to express her love for him.
At the same time in Dev’s house, Dev puts his head on his desk.
Dev (in his mind): Tomorrow only I will propose to her. But.. kaise? Soch Dev, soch!
Next morning:
Sonakshi wakes up fast, at the thought of expressing her love. She finishes all her work, and dresses up in one of her most beautiful dresses, a red top, almost like a frock, carved with beautiful flowers, along with smiple leggings. She puts on a light shade of lipstick, and rushes off for Dev’s house.
As she reaches, she runs inside and bangs into none other than Dev, who is about to leave for office, nervous about saying anything to Sonakshi.
Sonakshi: D-d- dev..
Dev is going to say something, but goes mum, mesmerized by Sonakshi’s simplicity and beauty.
Sonakshi: DEV! (swings her hand across his face)
Dev (snaps out of his trance): H-ha-ha! Sonakshi!
Sonakshi: W-wo mujhe tu-tumse k-kuch kehna hai..
Dev: Sonakshi, ek kaam karo… when you finish your work, don’t leave. I am coming back from office. Mujhe bhi tumse kuch zaroori kehna hai.
Sonakshi: O-ok. (in her mind) This is good. After he finishes telling me whatever he has to, I will tell him that I love him.
Dev (In his mind): I’ll say it to her in the night…
Sonakshi: Bye then!
Dev: Bye!
Sonakshi’s POV:
I couldn’t wait for the day to pass. Hours went by like years. I couldn’t wait to tell Dev about my love but at the same time, I was nervous… What if he didn’t accept? What if our friendship got disturbed because of this?
I brushed off these nervous thoughts from my mind, and continued working restlessly.
Dev’s POV:
I couldn’t concentrate on my work, and I cancelled many meetings. Would Sonakshi accept my love?
What if it affected our friendship? I rested my head on the desk, thinking.

At last, Sonakshi finishes her work in the evening, and waits for Dev. Dev winds up all his work, and rushes to his car, to get back home.
At last, Dev reaches his house, and from the door, he hides and signals to Sonakshi, so as not to be seen by anyone.
Sonakshi eagerly runs out.
Dev: Come, sit in the car.
Sonakshi: Iss waqt hum kahan jaa rahe hain? (Where are we going at this time?)
Dev (takes Sonakshi’s hand in his): Do you trust me?
Sonakshi (nervously): Y-yes.
Dev: Then come.. (makes her sit in the car)
Then, Dev gets into the car, and starts driving. He stops in front of an old house.
Sonakshi (gets out of the car): What place is this Dev?
Dev: Come in, at least… I’ll tell you.
They enter into the cramped, yet ever-beautiful living room.
Dev: Sonakshi, this is the house which we used to live in when we were young. We were poor, but we value this house even today. Except my family, I haven’t brought anyone to visit this place ever. You are very special to me, that’s why I got you to see this place.
Sonakshi smiles, as Dev continues: So, I have got a special person here, because I want to say something special. I’ll say it in a special way. Ruko ek minute.
He takes out a beady bracelet from his pocket.
Sonakshi: Ek aur bracelet?
Dev: Nahi nahi… ye alag hai. Look at the beads. They are very big. Now, take out all the beads. In every bead, there will be a letter. The letter will have a small, thin chain attached to it, through which you can pull it out of the bead. Arrange the letters in order, and you’ll get my message.
Sonakshi starts doing it, and Dev stands there watching nervously.
Finally, Sonakshi takes out all the letters, and starts rearranging them. As she rearranges the letters, she gets the most pleasant shock for it says, ‘I LOVE YOU’
She looks up at Dev in delighted shock, as Dev looks at her nervously.
Sonakshi’s POV:
Was this a dream? I pinched myself to find out. No, it wasn’t… I was about to faint, because I had never been so delighted before.
I stayed silent for a long time, because I had almost been eaten up by this surprise. After a long silence, I responded with a squeal of delight, “I love you too, Dev!” I flung myself on him, feeling like I had never felt before.
Dev’s POV:
She said yes! I was overwhelmed with joy, and couldn’t control my emotions. As she flung herself on me, I caught her, and squeezed her hard, caressing her hair.
I kissed her on the forehead, as we continued hugging each other. I felt over the moon, and I knew that I would never forget this moment… the best moment of my life!

Finally Dev and Sonakshi break the hug.
Dev: I can’t believe you accepted!
Sonakshi can’t say a word, for tears of joy come to her eyes.
Dev, shocked seeing tears in Sonakshi’s eyes, at once wipes them off gently.
Dev: Kya hua? Ro-ro kyun rahi ho?
Sonakshi (goes into Dev’s arms again): Because I am so happy you expressed your love for me, Dev. Even I was going to tell you the same thing… these are the tears of joy.
Dev: Relax…. soon I am going to propose to you for marriage… wo proposal isse bhi better hoga.
Both Sonakshi and Dev laugh, and Sonakshi closes her eyes in the warmth of Dev’s arms.
