“Billu ji !!” Anika screamed shutting her eyes tightly. Shivaay there stood all dumbstruck, he was in a towel before Anika. He wanted to make an impression on Anika but the starting has already made a mess. “Raita Phail Gaya !” Shivaay murmured. He instantly covered his bare chest with his arms. “Don’t open your eyes.” He instructed her, after all it was the matter of Shivaay Singh Oberoi’s dignity !!!
He hastily made his way towards the washroom. “Open your eyes Shaitaan Chuhiya !!” He shouted over the door. “No I will not, I am not a 2rs cheapde girl.” She replied squeezing her eyes more tightly, while her hands were still at its place. “Aare see I am not there.” He tried to make her understand. She peeked by removing a finger or two slightly through her eyes. “Billu ji have you become invisible ?” She questioned now removing her hands from her eyes. “Offo, I am in the washroom see..” He spoke waving at her, slightly visible. She looked at the direction and again closed her eyes. “Give me my clothes !” He said. “No I will not !” She said being scared. “I am not a 2..” She tried protesting. “Rs cheapde.” He completed with annoyance. “Please” he said the first time in his life. It looked obnoxious from his mouth as he was not used to it. “Okay” she said and handed him the clothes while walking like a snail. “I am going to Prinku’s room” she said and walked away, running to be precise. He smiled like maniac and ruffled his wet hair. “Kya hoga tera Shivaay ? (What will happen of you Shivaay)” He questioned himself maintaining the tug on his lips.
Anybody who would have seen him at that moment must have fainted wondering how could a person have all the qualities that one desires for. He was looking handsome as ever. Every feature of his body was highlighted as he smiled widely.
The resort ‘Jannat’ looked just like Jannat (Heaven). The shimmerings were being placed everywhere in the garden tied to the huge trees. The ladies were running here and there making sure that everything goes perfect. The workers were not less, they were giving their full dedication. After all it was the engagement of Prinku, the heart of everyone.
Anika came with a tray of tea and snacks and placed it in the round table. “Bhaiya ji, please come and have something. You all are working very hard. You must be exhausted.” She said inviting them to feast. The workers looked at each other and then flashed a big smile, and bowed to her to show gratitude. She smiled. Shivaay who just came for breakfast, saw her and smiled like anything. Once again he was proud of his choice. He sat nearby on the chair and admired her secretly.
After the workers were complete with their food, they left and began doing the arrangements, now with more enthusiasm. He came and tapped on her shoulder. She saw him and froze. There was something mischievous in his kanji eyes.”You are so nice !” He said. “You were staking me ?” She asked coming in front of him. “Shaitaan Chuhiya” he pulled her cheeks “Its stalking !!” He grinned at her pronunciation. “Yeah, I said only that.” She replied making a pout. He held her hand tightly making his way to the dining hall. But the way he held her hand it seemed he was indicating that he will never leave her and will always be her side. She now saw a different shade of Shivaay, the caring one thou she had observed it yesterday too, it was different today. He looked serious and was smiling. She could read his eyes and tell you the history of him. Such powerful was his eyes. She just looked at him without blinking and thought “What is happening to me ?” They came to the dining hall.
Each member was smiling and talking eating their breakfast except the one who was smirking, Sahil. Shivaay was stealing glances at Anika, she was sitting just in front of him. She was aware of his intense gaze but chose to keep mum. “Sahil did you sleep well at night ?” Dadi asked in between the chatterings. Suddenly the atmosphere became silent around the dining hall. Every youngster began remembering about yesterday’s night. Sahil spoke “No Dadi, yesterday toh I slept alone.” Sahil said making a sad face. “Why, where was Rudra ?” She questioned.
Now Rudra understood that Sahil knows everything. He pleaded with his eyes to make him quiet. Saumya too was nervous and started biting her nails. “Why are you biting nails, sumo ? Are you mad ?” Rudra whispered. Saumya spoke, “Hey, according to the university of California, people who bite their nails are intelligent and….” “Okay, please stay quiet now. Will you ? Here we are on the verge of being caught..” Rudra stated angrily. “What are you whispering Rudra and Saumya ?” Jhanvi asked passing the salad to Tej. “Nothing !” Rumya spoke together and shared an Eyelock. “Dadi, I want to tell you something.” Sahil decided to be straight forward.
“Actually Dadi, yesterday everyone was busy with their partners, leaving me. You know I couldn’t sleep and also I couldn’t saw the face of Roll number 36. Rudy bhaiya made me sleep and went with Saumya to the garden.” Everyone stared at them and they kept their eyes at floor. Rudra made a mental note to be extra careful the next time. He looked at Sahil who was smiling seeing their situation. “No video games !” Rudra indicated with his palms. “Dadi see, Rudy bhaiya is saying he will not give me video games.” He said making a crybaby face. “Rudra” Tej spoke. He stiffened.
“Then I thought to go to Prinku didi’s room and she was busy with Ranveer jiju’s picture.” Sahil continued. Now everyone’s gaze turned towards their little daughter. She too looked down.
“Then when I went to Om Bhaiya’s room he was toh….I can’t speak. He was hugging Gauri didi.” Sahil spoke eyeing them and hiding his face in his palms indicating that he was feeling shy. The elders now kept quiet.
Shivaay and Anika were keeping their fingers cross. They were thinking they did a lot of things at night. Which one he will tell. He gestured Anika to make Sahil quiet now. She tried but all went in vain. She sat, helplessness clearly visible on her face.
“And Shivaay Jiju was keeping hands on my Di’s neck.” Sahil spilled the beans. Everyone looked at Sahil now. “What ?” He asked. “The end.” He spoke and everyone left out their breath which was choked in their throats. Sahil was now waiting when they will get scolding but to his surprise…
The elders started laughing, hysterically !!!!!!
