He thought as looking at himself in disguise in the mirror.
Abhi, Let me call her…I hope she is fine…why did she behave differently just now?
He called her but there was no response, he thought she might be busy and went to check on Tanu.
Abhi knocked at Tanu’s door. Tanu opened it and looked surprised.
Abhi ” Why are u looking like that? Did u do what I told you?” Tanu ” Yes I did but Pragya still haven’t reach home…I never saw her in the CCTVs….” Abhi entered her room and closed the door.
Abhi in a panicked tone ” What are u saying? She should be here already….I sent her first…”
Tanu shrugging her shoulder ” I never saw her in the footages…” Abhi looked away and thought about Pragya’s words and sudden hug.
Abhi ” Ok…did u eat?” Tanu ” I did…I ordered pizzas to eat….” He looked worried and said ” I have to go now…just do the rest as I said….” Tanu ” Is there anything bothering you?” Abhi ” No…”
He left the room and went towards where Ma was.
Abhi, No…she wouldn’t know where is Pragya now….She should be in worry of Shalu….
He walked back to his room and tried calling Pragya again.
Abhi was telling to himself, Pragya pick up the call now!
Pragya finally answered the calls after numerous attempts by Abhi.
Abhi ” Where are you Pragya? Why did u never call me??”
Pragya ” I am leaving forever…”
Abhi ” What? Where? Don’t tell me you are back to your home or at the railway station!”
Pragya sobbed hearing his voice and looked worriedly at the scene in front of her.
Abhi ” What are u looking at? And why are u crying?”
Pragya with teary eyed ” Sorry….”
Abhi ” You are upto something for sure! Where are u now??”
Pragya ” I don’t want to bother anyone…I just want to leave everyone…”
Abhi ” Pragya! Please just listen to me once! You shouldn’t do this now…”
Pragya was keep on sobbing and was not telling anything.
Abhi “Just talk to me once Pragya! Please….we will solve everything! I know u trust me! Then why are u doing this?”
Pragya ” I am sorry…I trust you but I don’t need your trust…they need it…take care of everyone…”
Abhi ” Stop it Pragya! Tell me where are u now!”
Pragya in her pleasant voice ” In your heart forever….”
With that Abhi heard the loud bang noise and the call ended making him drop his phone onto the ground.
Abhi picked up his phone anxiously and tried calling her again but it was not reachable making him very scared.
He couldn’t think straight and was about to call Purab to tell about this when he received another call.
Pragya ” Abhi!!! Are u there?” Abhi ” Haan but what was that sound? And are u trying to kill yourself??”
Pragya “Can you come to city hospital? I am going there….” Abhi ” Why are u going there?” Pragya ” Just come! I will tell you!”
Abhi rushed to see her and reached the hospital. Pragya was waiting for him at the reception area.
Abhi hugged her and cried heavily looking into her eyes. Abhi ” Are u ok?” He asked by touching her face and head checking for any injuries
Pragya ” Oh god! Just come with me! I need to show you something!” She held his hands and brought him to a ward.
Abhi ” WHAT IS THIS?? How did he ended up here?”
Pragya ” Wo…I was about to jump off the bridge but then I heard a loud bang noise! That’s when i saw a car hit against the bridge and I admitted him here as the hospital was near by….”
Abhi ” You were planning to jump off the bridge?” He asked by firmly holding her hand.
Pragya looked away and Abhi pulled her with him from the ward and yelled ” Don’t you know my life is yours as well? What if u die? Then how will I be able to live??”
Pragya hugged him but he pushed her away.
Abhi ” Never ever try to kill yourself! Promise me now!”
Pragya looking at his anger stammered
“I promise you….I am sorry….”
Abhi was still very furious at her decision and he sat on the seat there with a stressed look.
Pragya kneeled in front of him and held his hands but he looked away.
Pragya in a shaky voice ” I know it’s wrong of me to do that way….but I really don’t want to bother you all…I mean I really don’t want to hinder you in your duty of taking care of Naina and Cutie….”
Abhi firmly said “It’s also my duty to take care of you!”
Pragya “This is what I don’t want…I don’t think I am your duty to take care of!”
Abhi aggressively ” You think that way right? Fine! But u are my duty to take care of! I had been wrong to you Pragya! Whatever you are going through is because of me! That makes you as my duty now!!” He said that by looking into her eyes with blood shot.
Pragya in shock ” What do u mean?” Abhi let go of her hands and walked away in tears by removing his turban and rest of his disguise.
