Naina whispered “ Why are they so silent?” Purab “ Relax…they need time to tell too…” Naina was getting restless.
Rakesh, Why I can’t hear anything? Did I become deaf being inside this box? No!!!
He panicked and came out of the box scaring to check he is not deaf.
Rakesh screamed “ Cutie!!!” Abhigya turned to the direction he was. They looked surprised to see him and he ran towards the direction of Cutie.
Cutie looked shocked and asked Abhi to let her down from the table.
Rakesh hugged Cutie and looked very scared.
Cutie was taken aback and Abhigya went near them.
Cutie “ Oye Rakesh! Why are u so scared? Did u see cockroach?”
Rakesh broke away from the hug and looked at Pragya sadly with tears.
Pragya carried him and asked “ What happened sweet boy?”
Rakesh stammered “ I….scared…. I am DEAF!!!”
Cutie “ Deaf? Why?” Rakesh continued stammering “ I was inside the box na…then i can’t hear anything…I got scared…”
Abhi “ That means u were hiding inside the box!!!” He said in a stern tone.
Rakesh never replied and leaned his head on Pragya’s shoulder and Pragya patted his back to calm him down.
Cutie “Carry me Friend!” Abhi carried her and Cutie “ Bring me near di! I will talk to Rakesh!” Abhi did as she said and Cutie “ Rakesh! Look at me!” Rakesh still looked frightened.
Cutie “ Rakesh…u can hear!!” Rakesh moved slightly to see her.
Cutie “ Why are u so scared?”
Rakesh “ Then why u all never talk?”
Cutie looked at Abhigya and they tried to look away thinking of their situation.
Pragya “ Come on sweet boy….don’t be scared! I am here na…”
Rakesh with teary eyed “ Really? U will be here?” Pragya pleasantly said “ Yes my sweet boy…” She said that and sat on the chair there.
Abhi noticed all this silently just like Cutie.
Pragya tried to cheer him up by kissing his cheek and he in return kissed her cheek.
Both hugged each other and
Pragya‘s eyes turned moist with tears.
Abhi, Why is she having tears? I know she likes Rakesh but is it more than Cutie? If that is so but why? Nothing serious happened that she have to turn this much emotional…..
Cutie looked towards the table where Naina and Purab are hiding and was getting uneasy as she haven’t done what they had told her.
Naina told in frustration “ This Rakesh came all of a sudden and spoiled our plan!” Purab “ Take it easy Naina….anything might happen…” He said positively.
Abhi “ Ok! Let’s leave now! It’s running late for all of us!” Pragya hearing that looked at Abhi and nodded her head lightly.
Cutie “ My last question! You all didn’t answer!” Abhigya again looked at each other in silence. They both want to reveal their hidden truth but they were very apprehensive about the truth’s outcome.
Cutie screamed a very big no making Abhigya out of their trance of eye-lock.
Cutie stubbornly said “ I want an answer!!”
Pragya hearing that, How do I tell it in front of my child?
She thought that by patting Rakesh who was leaning his head once again on Pragya’s shoulder.
Abhi “ I will tell but not the way u think Cutie…” Cutie looked surprised.
Abhi sat on the chair with Cutie on his lap.
He looked at Pragya and smiled.
Pragya, What is he hiding from me? Is it related to what he said that he is responsible for what I went through?
Abhi “ Cutie! Do u have extra paper?” Cutie nodded her head and took the paper from her another pocket.
He had a pen with him in his pocket and scribbled something on it.
Cutie looking at his scribblings couldn’t understand anything. He then said “Pragya! You write at the back of this paper…”
Pragya doubtfully “ Me?” Abhi “ Then whoelse?”
Cutie taking the paper passed it to Pragya.
She too scribbled on it and folded the paper.
Abhi “ Ok done! We have told what we were hiding from each other!”
Cutie taking the paper from Pragya tried to read both their handwritings but she couldn’t understand. Even Rakesh tried to read but he too couldn’t comprehend it.
They both looked upset and Abhi “ Let’s go now….” Pragya “ Yes it’s getting late…” Cutie still whined and asked them to tell aloud of what they hide from each other.
Pragya “ I told already Cutie!” Cutie “ No!” Abhi “ Me too Cutie! I told already!” Rakesh “ Leave it Cutie…I am hungry now…”
Cutie helplessly looked at the table.
Abhi “ Why are u keep on looking at the table?” Cutie panicked hearing that and looked away.
Pragya “ Is there something over there?” Cutie shook her head as no. Abhi “ Pragya..let’s check what’s there!” She agreed and both walked towards the direction when Rakesh and Cutie screamed “ No!!! It’s so dark there!!!”
Naina was getting nervous of what if Bhai finds her here. She in nervousness clenched Purab’s arm making Purab slightly uncomfortable.
Abhi “ Alright then! Cutie don’t keep on look there! Ok?” Cutie nodded her head vigorously and they all walked down the stairs to leave.
Naina let a deep sigh of relief as she realized them leaving and looked at Purab.
Purab “ They left….u can leave my hand now…” Naina realized how firmly she was holding onto him and moved away. Naina “ Sorry….” Purab “ It’s ok…”
Abhi “ I don’t think it’s safe for all of us to go in bike…” He said that looking at his bike.
Pragya “ We can call for taxi…” Abhi “ I will call…”
As for Cutie and Rakesh they were standing beside Pragya and whispering by not looking at each other.
Cutie “ Scary cat!” Rakesh “ Who?” Cutie “ You!” Rakesh “ No…” Cutie “ You spoilt all plans!” Rakesh “ I got scared!” Cutie ignored him and walked towards Abhi who was speaking in phone.
Rakesh, All because of me…but I really got scared.
He thought by looking down sadly and Pragya noticed that. Pragya carried him and asked “ What happened now?” Rakesh whispered something into her ears and her eyes widened in surprise.
Pragya looked at Abhi and felt like calling him after hearing what Rakesh said to her.
Abhi coming closer to her with Cutie “ Do u want to tell me something? “ He asked Pragya.
Pragya “ If u don’t mind….let me stay here and u drop Rakesh and Cutie at home?” Abhi with concern “ Why? Why u don’t like to come with me?” Pragya “ Nothing like that…I always like to come with u wherever u go….but I have something here in this house for me to take…” Abhi “We can wait for you na…u go in and take now…”
Pragya “ No Abhi…it may take some time…u leave first…it’s getting late na…Rakesh is getting hungry too…” Abhi “ How can I leave u alone here? I mean how will u leave from here?” Pragya “ I will ask Purab to pick up me….ok?” Abhi looked away not agreeing to what Pragya said.
Pragya held Abhi’s hand “Please…I will call u once I reach home safely…” Abhi remained silent and thought, I thought of telling u what I am hiding from u all this while….
Pragya “ I know u want to tell me something too…I can sense it from your silence….” Abhi looked at her yearningly. Pragya “ Even I want to tell you something….” He looked surprised and was about to tell something when Pragya “ But this is not the right place….Meet me at City hospital tomorrow at 11 am….” Abhi “ Why hospital?”
Cutie and Rakesh hearing that looked at each other in shock. Cutie “ Hospital??” Pragya diverted the topic by saying Friend have to put injection for getting angry at times and she will be putting the injection for him.
Rakesh hearing that laughed loudly and both Cutie and Rakesh teased Abhi. Abhi got annoyed slightly of the teases but he just smiled thinking of Pragya’s way of diverting the two kids.
Abhi, I know it’s something serious that she wants to tell. But what is it?

Abhi “ If u feel being here is suffocating… then just come with me! Just the two of us Pragya….We will go somewhere where there is no one to bother us….Just you and me with our love for each other…” He said that emotionally by pinning Pragya against a wall. Pragya pushed him away by crying heavily and ran out of the room leaving Abhi shocked.
