There has been a buzz about actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her husband Shahnawaz Shaikh expecting a child. However, the actress has denied these rumors. She clarified, “I have been hearing since the last six months about my pregnancy. I have plans to start a family, but as of now, these talks are just rumors. When it happens and when the time is right, I will announce it to the world. As of now, I am happy shooting for my show.”
Devoleena is currently portraying Chatthi Maiyya in the TV show “Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya.” She explained, “It’s not a mythological show. I have never wanted to do a typical mythological show. The quality of mythological shows has become excellent in the past few years. I enjoy watching ‘Shiv Shakti Tap Tyag Tandav’ and also liked ‘RadhaKrishn’ very much. So, if something like that is offered to me, I would love to be a part of it. I would not want to do something which is not interesting.”
The actress, who has also appeared in shows like “Dil Diyan Gallan,” shared her thoughts on the repetitive nature of TV content. “Dil Diyan Gallan was a very interesting show, and so I acted in it. But in the last decade, nothing major has changed on TV shows. Every TV show starts with a good concept, but it comes down to the same storylines that we watched earlier. I am hoping that makers will work on new stories and have interesting content in TV shows,” she said.
With her clear stance on the pregnancy rumors and her insightful comments on the television industry, Devoleena Bhattacharjee continues to engage her audience both on and off the screen.
