Sony’s Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya started air on November 7, 2017 at 9 PM time slot. The show stars Tejaswi Prakash and Rohit Suchanti in lead roles. It is a restructure of Pehredaar Piya Ki with lead characters’ names retained. The show follows the life of a girl Diya, who promised Ratan Maan Singh’s father that she will be protecting Ratan from all dangers. After twelve long years, Diya still keeps the promise. Pehredaar Piya Ki was pulled off air in August. The revamped version looks much better and interesting. The story has taken 12 years leap. It has changed the storyline, where Diya isn’t married to Ratan. She is just his life protector. She has a duty to protect him from hidden enemies. Diya is a strong individual, whose life is dedicated to secure Ratan’s life. Rohit Suchanti was last seen in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. The show has a strong plot and thrilling action.
