Hi Dil bole Oberoi and Ishqbaaz fans. I am a recent fan of the two series. And after watching this week’s DBO episodes, I felt I should write an alternate story of the Gaurika journey. I will also incorporate Shivika and Rumya in the story later on, but initial track is to write a more logical Swetlana revenge track that helps with the Gaurika Romance track. I will be grateful for any feedback from you all. I hope you enjoy the beginning of this Gaurika love story.
In this story I would like Chulbul/ Gauri to slowly start collecting clues about Swetlana’s revenge plan. While Swetlana is making a big plan to get control of the Oberoi’s professional and personal lives. I intend to make Swetlana, Omkara and Gauri equally clever and at par with each other. Gauri will be a street smart personality, with her integrity and positive belief in Shivji. Omkara will be aloof towards both women and smart in his attempts to neutralise Swetlana, but without Chulbul’s contributions he won’t be able to solve Swetlana mystery.
Swetlana in the Oberoi mansion engaged to Omkara will be called Duplicate Swetlana (DS) and there is an Original Swetlana (OS) in this story too.
In this story, the underground tunnel episodes, we saw with Swetlana and Chulbul, is actually all a drug induced nightmare of Omkara because of the drugged amla’s he is eating every night. That’s why none of the sequence makes sense, since nightmares are illogical.
Story Begins—-
Omkara—
After the two nights of weird dreams that Omkara has regarding Swetlana, O is wondering what is going on with him. On the one hand Chulbul is confusing him with the current ka jhatkas and in the night he is getting this weird Swetlana dreams. When he wakes up he is relieved to see that Chulbul is not in the room, doing his silly Puja’s.
He gets up and thinks is there really a tunnel underneath his room. He goes and tries to rotate the lighting that he saw Swetlana move in his dreams. But it doesn’t move. He even rotates the statue, but of course like any normal statue it slides on the floor revealing nothing unusual.
Om shrugs his shoulder and thinks just a stupid nightmare. Hope I can find what’s Swetlana’s plan soon. I don’t want to see the scary screaming Swetlana of my dreams in my real life. As it is can’t understand what dad sees in the normal Swetlana!
Swetlana—
Duplicate Swetlana (DS) goes for her daily early morning run in the park. Calls up Mrs. Kapoor: Mom our plan of destroying the Oberoi’s life is going well. I have managed to get Omkara to trust Chulbul, the silly new servant I told you about earlier.
Woh roj raat ko Omkara ko drugged amala de rahi hai..(She has been feeding him the drugged amla’s)…And then I and Chulbul have been searching his room for any clues about his business plans of the Bareilly project and any investigations he has been doing about me.
Those amla’s have been mixed with hallucinogenic drugs and plants and with this daily dose he will get nightmares regularly. Slowly the paranoia will seep into his life. And by the time we are married, he will be in the center of a psychotic episode. So that I can have him be declared insane after a few months into our marriage. And with the pre-nuptual agreement papers he has signed recently, I will get not only my half of the property but also his share of the property, because of this insanity plan. I have planted a few cameras to capture his erratic movements and behaviour. And will be recording his every action soon.
Mrs Kapoor: Rhea beta be careful, I don’t want your raaz to be revealed to the Oberoi’s. Tia se toh kuch ho nahin paya, is liye tum hi hamare chaal ki next khiladi ho. (Since Tia couldn’t do anything, it is up to you to be the next player in this game of revenge)
DS: Mom relax, please galti se bhi mujhe Rhea mat bulao. (Please don’t ever call me by this name Rhea). You know ever since I started working for Tej 5 years back, Swetlana Khanna (PS: not sure if her last name is ever told to us in IB or DBO) is the fake identity I have taken. No one knows that I am Tia’s eldest sister Rhea Kapoor. So never mention the name Rhea in front of anyone. She is in the past. For the world and you Rhea Kapoor has been dead or missing for the last 15 years.
Mom, yesterday I found some papers in Omkara’s room about Panchgani. I think it’s the school where Swetlana (OS) had studied. And I think Omkara might put some people up for investigating Swetlana. Mom can you go Panchgani and make sure that the schools records connect me to Swetlana’s life. And any connection to OS’s actual identity is erased from their records.
I can’t leave Mumbai because Omkara might get suspicious. And I am sure he has placed detectives to follow me around.

Chulbul/Gauri—
Chulbul morning prayer to Shivji Statue: Oh bhagwaan ji yeh Sultana madam ji kyun Omkara ji ke room ki talashi karti hai raat ko? Kal who filewa jo mila Sultana ji ko, who bahut important laga. Kaash haemin Angrezi thik se padhni aati.. Humko samajhta phir Swetlana ji ne kya padha hai? Hum roz yeh neend wali amla de rahe hain Omkara ji koh. Humein nahin accha lag raha. Kaash maa ke ilaaj ke liye humnein paise nahin liye hote..Is liye humein Sultana ji ka saath dena padh raha hai is saazish mein.. Hum Omkara ji ko sab sach bata denge jab humein Sultana ji ka raaz samajh ayega… Hey Bholenath humein sahi raasta dikhao Omkara ji ki madad karne ka. Aur Sultana ji ka kya plan hai humari samajh aa jaye har haraike.
(Chulbul Praying (Eng Translation): Dear God, why is Sultana madam searching Omkara ji’s room every night? That file we fund yesterday looked very important. I wish I knew how to read and understand English properly. Then I would have understood what Sultana ji found in the file? I am not liking that every night I am giving this drug filled amla to Omkara ji. I wish I hadn’t taken any money from Sultana ji for my mom’s treatment. Then I would never have supported her on spying on Omkara ji. Because of this obligation, for now I have to support Sultana ji in her scheming. I will revel Sultana ji’s plans to Omkaraji once I find out what is Sultana ji’s plan. Oh Bholenath Shivji please guide me so that I can help Omkara ji. And I hope I can quickly understand what is Sultana ji;s plan.)
Precap: As Om gets ready to leave his room, he is still contemplating on Swetlana dream. He dashes into Chulbul, who is entering the room to give him the prasad from the morning Puja.
Swetlana exchanges back the file she had taken from O’s room in the night, after having scanned all the documents using her smartphone.
