Ravi and Vishi smile at each other while everyone participate in the pooja.
At night, Anjali comes out in the dark to meet someone. She watches Sangeeta throw her gloves away and come outside. She assures Anjali no one would come here and asks if their plan was successful. Anjali says the plan failed, and if Sangeeta hadn’t switched the wire off she must have died. Sangeeta denies switching off the bulb. Ravi calls from behind she did this. She initially thought to play her game with Anjali but her parents didn’t bring her up to hurt anyone. She won’t be suspicious of her if she hadn’t spotted Sangeeta through the lock of the door. Sangeeta warns Ravi will have to play even smarter game. Ravi questions Ravi why Anjali is doing so. Anjali says she hates Ravi and would part her from
At home, Ravi was dressing Vishi’s arm. She apologizes as it will ache a little. Vishi asks why she agreed to leave him in such pain. Ravi says she was helpless, there Parneet was angry and here Anjali; she thought it better to leave herself. Vishi questions if she didn’t think about him. Ajji was passing by and tells Vishi she walked on burning coals and snatched him back from God. Ravi wasn’t ready to tell him. Vishi watches the bruises over her feet and was moved by the pain she bear for him. He would never have realized her love for him. He instructs her to only take rest now, and carries her to bed in his arms. He brings an ointment and applies it over her feet. Ravi cries watching all the care. Anjali was curt watching them from window outside.
Anjali brings tea for Ajji. Ajji asks if Ravi came up to her expectations and won the challenge yesterday. Anjali smiles she did this all for Ravi. She spots a mattress vendor bring a stall here. It was Sangeeta in disguise. Anjali insists on Ajji to buy a mattress for Vishi or Ravi. Ajji denies buying any, as it’s expensive. Sangeeta was ready to sale it at any cost. Ajji doesn’t like the quality and denies buying it as a very low cost, as there must be something wrong with it. Anjali insists on Ajji to purchase it. Sangeeta gets a fresh mattress. Ajji goes inside. Sangeeta hands Anjali a mattress and says she will see its wonders after Ravi uses it.
At night, Anjali spreads the mattress for Ravi with gloves, beats it with a rod to bring the scratch powder up. She doesn’t let Kavita lay on it and says she will rob Ravi of her sleep now. At night, Ravi slept sound. Anjali wakes up scratching herself. Everyone else wakes up as well. Ravi goes behind Anjali to the washroom and brings her a herbal ointment to reduce pain. Anjali forbids Ravi to be nice to her, if she changed the mattress deliberately. Ravi wonders if this all was to happen with her. Ravi says she only wanted Anjali to sleep well on the new mattress. Ravi requests Anjali to apply this oil. Anjali says this way Ravi will still take her son away from her. Ravi assures she doesn’t want to take Vishi away from any of them.
In the hall, Ajji was furious over the mattress vendor. Ravi brings a glass of water for her. Anjali comes outside. Avinash keeps the mattress aside, as there is something wrong with it. The next morning, Anjali speaks to Sangeeta on call that it’s their last chance, nothing can go wrong.
PRECAP: The neighbors plan to celebrate 75th anniversary of chawl. They say they won’t even let Vishi go to office, as there is a lot of work here. Anjali thinks this is going to be Ravi’s last night here.
